Even though they had begun their Skype session almost two hours ago, neither had run out of things to talk about.

“Harry, I have to go,” Hope said looking at the time on her computer screen with wide eyes, shocked at how fast time had seemed to fly.

“Why?” Harry asked.

“I have a date with Mark in twenty minutes and I haven’t even taken a shower yet! You keep distracting me!” Hope exclaimed at Harry.

Harry gave her an innocent look though inside he was celebrating that Mark hadn’t seem to cross Hope’s mind until now. “We haven’t Skyped in weeks.” Harry complained.  “And your birthday…”

“I know, I know,” Hope sighed.  “But, ugh," She groaned.  "Okay, I’m going to take a shower, and you, talk to Belle.” Hope said.  “We can talk about my birthday when I come back out.”

“Yay!” Belle said looking up from her coloring, scooting Hope’s laptop on the dining room table to face her.  “Is Niall there?” She asked peering into the computer.

Harry chuckled.  “Sorry Princess no, Niall’s at his apartment while I’m at mine.”

Belle made a face but quickly recovered as Hope kissed the top of her head.

“Why don’t you tell Harry about your new pet?” Hope suggested.

“Pet?” Harry echoed as Hope winked at him before leaving.

Belle nodded before proceeding to tell Harry all about her new pet, well technically it was the class’ hamster but Belle and the hamster had apparently formed a bond. Even the teacher had admitted it to Lacey at Open House, who could not stop laughing upon hearing the latest on her daughter.  The teacher was so impressed that she even let Belle name the hamster. Thus the class hamster’s name was… none other than Niall.

Harry blinked upon hearing the name of the class hamster, and then began to laugh uncontrollably as Belle looked on at him confused.  “I can’t wait to tell Niall the honor that’s been bestowed upon him.” Harry smiled at Belle fondly, both his dimples showing. The girl really was too adorable at times.

Belle smiled back.

“So, Belle, what do you think your Aunt wants for her birthday?” Harry asked the precocious, five almost six year old, trying to figure out the perfect present for Hope.

Belle’s face was pure concentration as she began to ponder.  “You could bring Louis. Lena and Aunt Hope were talking about him the other day.”

“What?!”

Hope was running around her room putting on her clothes as she tried to towel her hair dry.  She managed to pull on a pair of skinny jeans with one hand, although when she finished she wasn’t sure how exactly she had accomplished the task.

Hope quickly pulled a long sleeve maroon v-neck sweater shirt on, pulling her hair up in a messy updo.  She quickly glanced at her reflection, sighing as she knew she did not have enough time to bother with makeup.  Instead she put a shimmer of pink gloss on, and called it good.

She came running back to the living room to find Belle telling Harry all about the atrocious, or “atoaded”  as Belle pronounced, boy that kept pulling on her hair at recess.

“You want me to beat him up?” Harry asked in all seriousness in response to Belle and her pest.

Belle nodded vigorously, as serious as Harry.

“No, Harry you cannot go beat up a six year old boy, what would the press say? Anyway the boy just likes Belle, a lot, the teacher’s trying to fix his way of showing it.” Hope said sitting back down at the dining room table as she put on her neutral brown heels.  “What’s with that face?” Hope asked seeing the shocked and offended look on Harry’s face.
