Chapter 32 - The attack

Amelia POV

I run out of the pack den after the warriors. Not far behind me were Alex, Maximus, Lincoln, Levi, and Lawson. Rogues were attacking it had been a week since the pack meeting.

We had gotten more training in but not everyone was working together. Now that we were fighting they looked like a team. Each other had the others back. While we were losing a lot we were killing thousands more.

Its a 1 to 10 ration loses to kills if that makes sense.

But all of those who can't fight, for instance, the young kids, the elderly are all in underground safe rooms. Those who could fight and can fight were out doing what they could to protect loved ones and pack members.

But here I was frozen in place. He was here the monster responsible for all this pain. My (and Alex's) conflicting hearts. I feel something touch the small of my back.

"We've got this he won't take you from me. That I can promise."

I gulped and took a breath. I shifted and my wolf was ready to fight. No one was going to hurt her pack and get away with it. Not even if she was supposed to love them.

Aasemah POV

I took over and scanned the battlefield. There was a lot of blood and there was a lot of wolves fighting. I looked around and see 2 wolfs approaching me. I bare my teeth at them and let a low growl. They snarled in response and charged towards me. Then a shield appeared around me. It reminded me of the one that was formed around me and Andrus when we had that fight.

Wait I wonder. I thought of electricity flying off the shield and hitting the rogue wolves around me. I tried but failed.

>Andrus come here<

He pops up beside me.

>What?<

>I want to try something.<

>Maybe, What?<

>Lets put half shift.<

>Okay?<

"Andrus give me your hand."

"What? Why?"

"I wanna try electrifying all the rouges."

"What?"

"I know it crazy but think of sending lighting on their butts. Something Alex would see in a movie. Let's make it come true in front of their eyes."

He held out his hand and we stuck out our free hand. With that lighting sprung from the shield. hitting some rouge in the back causing them to scream but then burn into a crisp. My thoughts slowly become lost as I feel myself fall asleep.

Maximus POV

Everyone's eyes turned toward the twins. But they weren't there only a single body surrounded by the light. it was light everyone was able to see the connection between the once split souls. Now in one form. But this gained the attention of a monster. It walked closer to the energy orb. Everyone's eyes glued on the scene. Levi and I were frozen in our place almost like we were going to go to sleep while standing.

" Aasandrus your whole again my love. Come with me. We can be one again. The two of us, just like when the moon goddess made us."

The body orb moved closer, feet never touching the ground.

"Chernobog, my mate, you don't understand do you?"

Chernobog, the rogue leader and monster, tilted his head.

"What do you mean Aasandrus?"

"I'm not yours anymore. You and I don't exist. I feel nothing for you. So let make this simple for you who feels this shameful bond. I Aasandrus Moon, grandchild of the moon goddess, reject you Chernobog Sedna as my mate, father of my children, and leader of any obligation we made of made."

He grabbed at his chest. I guess that hurt a lot. Then this soul, human orb, or whatever you want to call it said something into Chernobog ear.

"Qui voco super te malum est prope interitum est.

Quod vincere mala dea audiat clamorem meum omni tempore et spatio."

Then suddenly Chernobog burst into flames. and His ashes scattered in the wind.

The evil bile creature destroyed. A war over this it orb split apart and the twins flew apart and stopped slowly as they approached the ground. I ran towards Amelia. I looked up to she a lighted figure coming close.

"Maximus she's fine just tired she put her body through a lot just now. But now the bond is severed and that beast is vanquished. The twins are still there powerful self's but now they have become there own person no more split soul but a whole one that has now combined with yours forever."

"I'm confused who are you?"

"The moon goddess deary. I split Aasemah and Andus soul into half then created another two souls to help them on their journey. And now since that monster is gone their souls combined and took what was keeping him alive and was able to completly make new whole souls to share with their mates. So dearest Maximus take care of her. And same goes for you Levi take care of Andus. Now I must go tell my daughter I love her."

I nodded and bowed my head as the moon goddess left. Slowly I felt something move in my arms.

"Maximus?"

"Yes dear?"

"What happened?"

"It's a long story just rest okay?"

She nodded and fell back asleep.

A/N: sorry for the long time to publish I was figuring how to finish thing up on this story to move onto my next project. I've just been so busy with a bunch of work that I didn't have time to write what I wanted to. Oh and That spell I wrote in laying but used a translator so it doesn't always transfer right but it's supposed to say: "Evil that is near I call on you to disappear.Goddess hear my cry vanquish this evil from all space and time." But it doesn't always translate right so I do apologies for that. And thank you all for the 3k reads!!!!! I'm so happy to see this book come this far. But stay tuned for an epilogue.
