The girl looks up at Harper, short, brown hair, braces. He says hi, Mindy and she stands up. Now they're staring into each other's eyes, something Harper had only dreamt of for so long. She looked kind of dirty, which Harper didn't care about. Then Mindy got a look of happiness, relief and fear all in one. She threw her arms around Harper, sobbing.
"You're the first one I've seen that I know", says Mindy as Harper says, "Me too." Now Harper was in tears. "Now you made me cry...", said Harper. Both sobbing, they didn't let go.
Now was probably a bad time to reveal his feelings to Mindy, so Harper just acted as he should, finally letting go after at least five minutes. Harper explained what he knew to Mindy, and Mindy took it kind of hard, but Harper was there to comfort her.
They agreed to work together until they could find a way out.
