In the middle of a field lies a rose. Beautiful and bright red, almost glowing being surrounded with grass. A few dandelions close by blowing in the wind, the rose twirls in a gust of wind. It landing right next to a patch of sunflowers. The dandelions being blown away and the sunflowers out shining the rose. The yellow being casted on the red petals. The rose twitches as a bee flies out of the center. The rose slowly starts to wilt. From the bottom of the stem up the petals. The sunflowers watched as this beautiful thing was dying. Nothing to do but rustle in the wind. The rose could have easily been put in a vase by a stranger walking past. But it stay out of sight. Waiting for the right time to be picked up. Finally before the petals starting falling a little boy picked it up, cutting the stem off and ran towards a little girl. Putting it behind her ear and smiling big. The rose twitched again, a petal fell just like a tear would. The sunflowers slowly started wilting, the red shine was gone and the yellow was nothing but normal now.Two years had past and the sunflower patch had become infested with roses. All colors and sizing. One sunflower and rose were intertwined and rest on the ground on a grave that read the little boy's name. The girl placed the two flowers on his grave, the car crash was known worldwide. She wiped her tear away and pulled out a rose petal. She got some dirt and covered up the petal, hidden from the world. But never unknown
