Death My Friend

Death, my friend,
My eternal companion,
It is your embrace
For which I wish.

Your arms to wrap
My frail frame,
Your breath to hold
My horrid name.

On this Earth
There is not a soul
That can recall
My mind now.

I wish to see you,
Death, my friend,
For of my lover
I have been sickened.

Darkness, my love,
To you I apologize,
I mean not to grow
Tired of you.

The sickness in me
Is deeper even then you,
It is a pit of hell
For me alone.

I did not even
Mean to love you so,
Darkness, my love
But you did grow.

Darkness, my love,
Hold on to me.
Your despair is better
Then the pit could ever be.

Death, my friend,
For your hug I wish,
To end this pain,
And me, no one will miss.

Fire, my foe,
Now to you I go.
I am sorry
To call on you now.

You were always a fiend,
Now I wish for your warmth,
For you to surround me
And for your touch on my skin.

I wish for your love,
And for you
To no longer add
Fiery passion to my heart.

I care enough,
To get myself hurt.
Enough without
Your harsh help.

From Darkness, my love,
To Fire, my foe,
To Death, my friend,
Into his arms I shall go.

To escape my pit
I must have my love,
Friend and foe
To help me.
