“Tessandra!!” I hear my momma call me from across the room. I try to move my weave outta my face, as I hear my momma call me again.
“I am coming, I gotta look cute mah!” I groan. I leave my bed the way it is, it is more comfortable that way. I make my way to my dresser and style my hair weave in different ways, till I get it the way I want, half up, half down. Today is the day I am leaving this nest, and exploring as a newborn baby bird. My momma was so happy when I got my acceptance letter, her boyfriend Ta’shawn wants to change my room into a pub. I agree with him.
“Get yo’ ass over here, yo’ boyfriend Nowaqua is here!” my momma yells again.
“Dayummm, girl you be looking cute!” says Nowaqua.
“Thanks bae, but ja’ know we ain’t gonna be a thing after I leave yo’ ass for a college bae.” I say to him.
“Tessandra, yo’ weave ain’t tha way I like it, you ain’t looking cute.” says my momma
I twerk my way to the kitchen and use a spoon to fix my weave, ugh my mom was right, my weave ain’t looking fresh today. She is always right!
“Who’s gonna put yo’ bags in the car” Nowaqua remarks. Nowaqua is an ass whole, but I love him cause he is a sick bastard.
I put two boxes into the car, a box of hair products, and beauty prouducts, and a box of party dresses and high heels. I ain’t going to no college to study, fuck that.
