Chapter 19: Day One

Y/n Pov

"All right, so tomorrow everyone will go to their decided work-place" Mr. Aizawa told us. "Remember that you, not only represent yourselves as individual heroes in training, but also as students of UA."

With that last sentence we're dismissed for the rest of the day in order to prepare ourselves. Once he left the classroom, everyone started to form circles among friends. I watch as Momo and Jiro walked towards Tsuyu.

"So Y/n, where are you going?" Ochako asked me as she and Izuku walked towards my desk.

"I'll be going to Okinawa to Jinkage's hero agency" I tell her. "He was my only nomination so I figured he saw something in me."

Both of them were shock that he sent in a nomination for me. I didn't think too much on it since he knew my mom and uncle. Probably more a formality.

"Wait you're going to Okinawa too Y/n?" Momo suddenly asked me.

"Oh yeah I am" I respond. "And what do you mean by too?"

I watch as her and Jiro look at each other and then looked at Tsuyu. I looked at her in confusion as we waited her to answer my question. She began to fidget with hands for a moment before looking directly at me.

"I'll be going to Okinawa too..." She said quietly. "I'll be joining the Oki Mariner Crew."

"That's so cool!" I tell her. "With your quirk, you should be able to be great help to them."

Tsuyu gives me a smile as Momo and Jiro smiled as well. Ochako gave me a smile that gave off a weird...vibe from it.

[ Timeskip as a dark storm appears over the horizon as Y/n watches.]

I yawn as I made my way to subway. I had to wake up earlier than normal in order to make it on time. I wait on the subway as prepare myself for the events to come. Finally after a while the subway finally arrived and I entered to see Tsuyu sitting looking out the window. I walk towards to see how she's doing.

"Morning Tsu" I say.

"Oh morning Y/n" Tsuyu replies.

"Mind if I sit beside you?" I ask her.

"Sure help yourself" She tells me.

I sat beside her as I talk to her. She tells me how her parents were worried about us going to Okinawa with Nox being active in the area but since we'd be with pro heroes, they figured we'd be safe. I found out the Oki Mariner Crew is only located a couple miles away from where I'll be staying.

After a while we finally arrive in Okinawa. We walked for a while but had to split off in different directions. I made a quick promise of going home together. I walked towards where Jinkage had his agency located. After looking around, I found the building. It was two floor office building in a small town. It near the edge so it overlooked the ocean.

I enter the well lit building to find it empty. I slowly entered the building as I look around for someone.

"Zwei something isn't right...it's too quiet" I tell him. "Be ready in case I need you."

"Understand. I'll stay on standby" Zwei tells me.

I make my way around the building as I notice my surrounding. There was a few desks with computers. I notice one had a soda can sitting near the edge. I pass the desks without disturbing anything as I made my way into the next room.

Maybe they're on patrol...I thought to myself.

I turn around to see that the can had fallen of the desk...and standing beside the desk was a man covered in rags. I couldn't see his face, except for his face.

"Who are-" my sentence was cut short as the stranger's shadow stretched across the floor towards me. I jump back as a fist arose from his shadow. I watch as his shadow revert back to him.

"I don't know who you are...but this is the agency or the pro hero Jinkage..." I started to say. "I won't let you walk in here and treat it like it's nothing!"

I run towards the stranger as his shadow charged at me. I sidestepped to the right as another fist arose from the ground. I kept running towards him as I got within a few feet of him.

"Zwei now!" I shout.

Zwei arose from my shadow as the stranger pulled back his shadow. I watch as Zwei jumped towards the stranger. I hear a strange sound coming from the man. As Zwei got closer, the man got in a strange stance. He dodged Zwei's claws and wrapped his arms around him as he slammed Zwei to the ground. Just as quickly, he jabbed two of his fingers into the side of Zwei's neck. I watch as Zwei grew stiff, even his tail stood out straight.

"What did you to-" I started to say but felt the air escape me.

I look down to see that the shadow had become a fist and held me tight. The man walked towards me as I struggled to escape. I clenched my teeth as I try to summon my strength but it was to no use. The mouth stopped in front of me as I stare at him. I just got here and this happened? Where are all the heroes?

"Four out of ten" The strange man said.

"What?" I asked him.

"Everyone did you see everything?" The man said as he looked up. Suddenly a intercom turned on and voice came out.

"Yes Jinkage sir. We saw everything and even recorded the fight for evaluation" The voice responded.

Wait...did they just say Jinkage? The man looked back at me and began to remove the rags the covered his face. I watch as the last rags to show Jinkage grinning at me.

"Sorry kid but I needed to test you" Jinkage said. "I did this with all my sidekicks too so don't be too angry."

I watch as a sly smirk grew on his face. He released me from his shadow's grip as he heads over to Zwei and jabs him in the neck again with his fingers. I rush to him as I watch him slowly move his body. I kneeled down beside to see if he was ok.

"By the way Y/n" Jinkage said as I looked up at him. "Welcome to the agency."
