•Eunjin's POV•

I sighed as Jimin screeched beside me, holding onto my arm as if his life depended on it.

He had asked me which ride I wanted to go on first. I chose the rollercoaster since it looked the least harmless from my point of view.

On the other hand, Jimin is terrified and annoying. He keeps on screaming in my ear and his grip on my arm is starting to hurt.

I wanted to enjoy the ride so I kept my anger inside until I couldn't hold it in anymore, "PARK JIMIN, SHUT UP AND LET GO OF MY ARM!"

Jimin gulped and stared at me in surprise before nodding his head, "Y-yes ma'am."

At least I held my anger until the end of the ride. As soon as the roller coaster stopped, Jimin hopped out almost instantly and I followed behind him.

I was still aware of the people getting off the roller coaster so I gripped Jimin's hand anxiously.

He told me to imagine that they weren't there so I tried my best to drown their voices in the back of my head and trick my eyes into thinking that there's no one around us.

I never believe I'd say this but it's actually working. I was completely ignoring the presence of the people around me.

Earlier, when Jimin and I made our way to the roller coaster, I struggled to completely ignore the people but now—I gained some confidence to walk around the park since I sat with them in the coaster.

"Do you want to try out that shooting booth?" Jimin pointed at a small booth on the opposite side of the roller coaster. It had metal cans inside and stuffed bears were on the side of the booth.

However, what caught my eye the most was the man standing at the booth, scrolling through his phone.

If we were to go to that booth, we would have to interact with him!

"No, I don't want to," I mumbled as I walked away from the booth, only to have Jimin pull me towards it.

"Oh, come on! This can help you get less scared. You can walk around the park freely now without minding the people, how is this guy any different?" He shrugged his shoulders.

"It's because I didn't have to interact with any of them!" I whispered-yelled to him as I was scared of attracting attention.

He sighed before peering into my face, "Listen, I'm here to protect you, I would never EVER let anyone harm you, got it?"

Sighing in defeat, I willingly let him drag me to the booth.

"Hello there!" The man in the booth flashed us a large grin as soon as he saw me and Jimin coming over and tucked his phone away in his pocket.

"Hi!" Jimin responded before looking around the booth, "So how does this game work?"

"It's 2,000 won for 3 bullets. If you hit 2 metal cans, you get a prize!" The man pointed at the stuffed bears hanged on the walls of the booth.

"What'd you say, Eunjin?" Jimin turned to me with a smile, "Want to give it a try?"

"Just hit 2 cans then you can get any bear you like, miss!" The man said to me as I hid behind Jimin.

"Are you sure he's harmless?" I whispered to Jimin.

"Yes, if he does anything to you, I'll break him into pieces, okay?" Jimin answered back before smiling at the man in the booth.

"Your boyfriend can even win it for you if he's strong enough!" The man winked at me before offering Jimin 3 BB bullets, "So?"

Jimin looked back at me before handing the man 2,000 won and grabbing the 3 bullets before loading them into the gun.
