"Create a poem or story about something you could watch forever. "

What is it that can make one stop and stare?

The answer is easy, it is nothing, my dear;

No, do not at me, give a deathly glare,

Hold your ire and to my words do hear.

The wide blue expanse above the earth,

Is mere nothingness that is endless and vast;

The twinkling stars, we know from birth,

Is light travelling through nothingness from the past.

The celestial charts that guide many a way,

Are lines drawn by us in the velvety nothingness;

And when we 'foresee' what the stars could say,

We are making up meanings for the sparkling emptiness.

The skies are for dreamers and for achievers,

All gazing at that nothing, their inspiration and guide;

Fascinating is that nothingness for seers and star gazers,

As they attempt, its deep secrets to unhide.

So do stop and stare a little while,

At the blue or velvety nothingness above;

It gives a joy, or a tear or a soft smile,

And might just fill your heart with love.
