These are a few of my favourite scents
Hot coffee, at any time of the day and chocolate too
The sizzle of potato fry when you come home after a long day
The fragrance of rice and spices or that of parathas roasting in ghee
The cut of coriander or the bruising of mint leaves
These are a few of my favourite scents
The subtle fragrance of nightqueen or the wild one of jasmine
The vivid scent of roses and the sharp one of the ajwain leaves,
The cloying perfume of the plumeria and rajnigandha
The distinct scent of sandalwood and lemon grass
These are a few of my favourite scents
The wet earth after the first rains
The soft scent of spring in the air
The burn of hot summer wind
And that gentle spray of misty days
These are a few of my favourite scents
Essential oils of eucalyptus and lavender
soft smooth cocoa butter cream
gentle brush of musky eau de cologne
and the warm tones of cinnamon and spice
These are a few of my favourite scents.
