Being committed is not doing something today and giving up on it tomorrow. Commitment is the state of being dedicated to a cause. Committing to something is the act of staying honest and true to a pledge that you have made to yourself despite the circumstances that may arise. Often times we deprive ourselves of that which we can do just because we weren't committed enough to finish the task at hand. It's just like doing the work that you were assigned to at your workplace for your boss. There are consequences that you will have to face if you are not fully committed to the job given. The key to stay committed to something, or even someone is simple. Develop a mindset that whether or not the job might be hard, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It's that simple. Just the believing of those words will take you places you only dreamed of going and stuffs you didn't think you could do. Stop telling yourself everyday that you can't. Once you are fully committed to something, whether it may be school related, work related, home related or even at the church, I guarantee you that you will do it despite the circumstance that may come your way.
