I get home early. The house seems dead. I fix the ring on my finger and sigh deeply. I shut the door and set down my keys.
"Baby, I'm home." Silence for a minute. A door closes then Emily's voice fills the house.
"Angelica? Is that you?" She sounds a bit distressed.
"Ya. Is Jimin home?" I frown a bit as I scroll through my phone. I walk farther into the house.
"No. Umm can you come here real quick." I walk to the stairs.
"Coming." I run up stairs. I open Emily's door.
"Where's Noah, Hawk, and Lillian."
"Mall with Jimin. They are getting things for you and Jimin's wedding."
"Already?!"
"Only a couple more weeks." She smiles.
"You look nice today." She takes in my appearance.
