jungkook sighed, looking at the clock reading 7. he started to contemplate his options in his head. should i?

taehyung fiddled with his fingers while sitting on the bench, awaiting for the younger to show up. it had been a whole week since he had seen him, making him feel a little anxious.

he saw the younger from a distance, slowly approaching him. as jungkook got closer, he noticed taehyung slightly shivering without a coat.

jungkook lightly gasped before rushing over, taking off his own furry jacket, placing it around taehyung as jungkook was left only in his hoodie.

"it's so cold! why didn't you bring a jacket?" jungkook nagged, pulling the coat closer, trying to button it up.

"jungk-"

"seriously! it's freezing, and you want to go out in the cold in a tee?! are you begging to be sick???" he continued to chide, fixing the coat so that it was protecting taehyung from the cold.

"jungkook!" taehyung called, causing jungkook to take his hands off of him.

"what?!" jungkook yelled back, already frustrated that the elder wasn't taking proper care of himself. taehyung got taken back from his sudden outburst. jungkook, who immediately noticed, softened his expression, "yes?" he asked softer. taehyung took a deep breath, exhaling. he looked into jungkook's shining brown orbs from the park lanterns, before admitting,

"i like you."
