We had just finished the concert. The applause in the arena was sounding off massively behind us as we ran off the stage. "Another successful show, lads." Niall commented as we ran to get to the bus. All I could think about was Y/N. She'd been waiting for us to finish all night. The fact that she came on this tour with us was something I was beyond joyful for.

The 5 of us were quiet as we entered the bus, even though we were pumped full of adrenaline from the show, for I feared waking up Y/N if she was asleep. Instead of being asleep, we could hear the muffled sound of her talking to someone in the next room. I tiptoed over, the boys behind me.

She was talking to Lou, our hairstylist. She was holding my fedora to her chest, and was all cozy in one of my hoodies. I kept the door only a crack open, deciding to hear their conversation:

"Are you okay?" Lou asked her.

"Yeah," Y/N sighed, "What makes you think I'm not?" She sounded very down.

"Well, you are wearing Harry's hoodie and holding his fedora tight on your chest." Lou replied gently, in her nurturing mother voice.

"I...I k-know." Y/N was crying. I could tell by the shakiness in her voice. Lou crawled over to her and wrapped her arms around her body.

"Oh sweetie. What's wrong? Did Harry hurt you? I swear if he did I'll slap some sense into that boy."

"No, no, it's j-just that...I-I don't feel as close to him anymore. I love him with all my heart but I don't know...being here on tour with him makes me feel like I have to share him with thousands upon thousands of other girls. Many of which are probably all more charming and prettier than me."

Her words made my heart plummet to my stomach. My baby girl was feeling abandoned, insecure, and I never knew she felt this way.

"Poor lass." Niall whispered.

"I never knew she felt like that." I muttered. But back to Y/N and Lou:

"Does Harry know you feel like this?"

"No, but please don't tell him. I don't want him to worry about me while he's on tour." Y/N rubbed her eyes, "It's just whenever I can hold or wear something of his, I feel close to him, like he's mine. His hoodie smells of his cologne and his hat of his hair product. I feel at home, whenever even a small piece of him is with me."

I couldn't take it anymore. I burst through the door, the boys flooding in behind me. I ran to bring Y/N into my arms.

"Harry," She spoke, "I didn't realize you guys were done."

"I never knew you felt that way." I said.

"It's fine."

"No it's not, baby," I hushed her, kissing her lips with all the love and passion I felt. "I want you to feel as close to me as I do to you."

"I know, it's just like whenever I see you out on stage, with many thousands of beautiful girls screaming for you, I feel like you'll find one and think she's better than me."

"Better than you? No one can ever be better than you, Y/N. You must believe me on that. The you I was in love with yesterday is the same you I'll love today and tomorrow and forever after that."

"I love you, Harry."

"I love you Y/N." I kissed her again, Lou and the boys 'awwed'. I then chuckled and pulled my fedora onto her head. "Keep the hat, babe. It looks rather cute on you."
