edit: fixed dialogue that was exclusive of other races/ethnicities and appearances regarding  y/n being adopted. I had written that no one knew she was adopted, forgetting that other readers who are not white (as I am) would be outed as obviously adopted in this story. To anyone I excluded I am truly sorry. Like I mentioned in a few comments, I wrote this a few years ago when I was younger and sort of made myself the reader insert without understanding that not everyone who reads this story looks exactly like me. I hope those who have been hurt by this can forgive me and understand that I have grown these last few years and subsequently realized how to be more inclusive in the rest of the books. Thank you always to those who have supported and continue to support my work, and for the comments who made me realize my errors. 🧡

"So you really don't trust him?" You asked.

"I don't know him well enough to say for sure. My spidey-senses tingle around him."

You giggled. "Spidey senses?"

"Your dad didn't tell you? I sense danger approaching."

You rolled your eyes and smiled. "He doesn't tell me anything."

He laughed a little. "Well, are you going to the party this weekend?"

"I texted May earlier and she said yes."

"Do you know about Ned?"

"He's coming too."

"Tyler's going, and I'll see how things go. If he seems like a good guy I'll go with him. If not, I'll cancel."

Peter felt uneasy, but he didn't want to argue. He got up and grabbed a jacket that had been hanging up. "You cold? I'm freezing."

"Kinda, but I'm fine."

He grabbed his blanket off of his bed and wrapped it around you. "I think it'll make you feel better."

You smiled. "You're so sweet."

You liked Tyler, you really did. He just wasn't Peter Parker.

His blanket smelled so good. You could've fallen asleep in it if Happy hasn't texted you.

"Oh, Pete. I gotta go, Happy's here."

"Okay," he said getting up and helping you up too. "I'll walk you out?"

"Sure."

You grabbed your bag and Peter followed you out of his room.

"Goodnight Aunt May!"

"Goodnight, sweetheart!"

You walked down to the car with Peter and put your bag inside.

"Bye," You said, giving him a quick hug.

"Bye. I'll see you tomorrow."

You got in the car and kept dozing off the whole time.

When you got home, you finished the last of your homework and showered.

You checked your phone and saw a missed FaceTime from Peter. You called him back and faced the phone away from you as you got dressed.

"Hey, Peter," you said when he picked up.

"Hey, I know we just hung out, but I wanted to talk to you again. Make sure you're okay."

"Yeah, no, I'm fine," you said, picking it up now. His hair was wet too and he looked so cute like that.
