Stokeley pov:

We just finished up down at the station and we're heading back home.
I wanted to do something to help distract Jah from everything that has just recently happened.

" hey Jah you feel like ice cream" I ask him causally.
A large smile spreads across his face as he nods his head vigorously.

" ok then" I chuckle at his childish antics.

I was trying to help him open up a little more.
Now that everything seems to be over I hope he will start talking again.
I still haven't had much luck but it's not like I can expect him to change from saying nothing to having full on conversations.

" what flavor" I asked hoping he would answer with words so we wouldn't have to play the guessing game.

He stares back at me waiting for me to guess.

" really Jah your going to make me guess" I asked exaggerating.

Jah nods his head while softly giggling.

" cake batter" I asked remembering what he ordered last time.
He shook his head in disapproval.

" oh ok....we're switching it up this time" I joke.

" Oreo" I ask.
Jah seems to agree as he nods his head in approval.

" alright Oreo it is" I announce pulling in the drive-through.
I figured we just be quick since we're probably both tired out from todays events.

Time skip: just arrived at the house

I came around to open Jah's car door for him since he seemed to tired to get out himself.

" come on Jah" I say gesturing for Jah to get out of the car.
Yet he just reaches his arms out in a grabby motion signaling that he wanted to be carried.

" ok fine" I say as his childish pout turns into a grin.

I start heading to the bathroom knowing Jah mostly likely needs a bath.
He seemed to of noticed what I was thinking as we entered the bathroom.
He started slightly thrashing around in my arms.
Small whimpers left his lips as a pout formed on his face.

" come on Jah, you need a bath, you smell" I inform him in a persuasive way.
He shakes his head still disapproving.

" I'll get in with you" I suggest.
That seemed to of worked because Jah shyly nodded his head in approval.

" alright you stay here I'll be right back" I inform him.
I was heading to go grab swim trunks because I wasn't about to get in naked.

I quickly headed back to the bathroom once I was done.
I saw that Jah was struggling to remove his top.
I quickly helped him pull it up over his head.
I had him do the rest.
Once he finished I grabbed his hand leading him to the tub which I filled up with water before I went to get my swim trunks.

I sat down in the tub with my back resting at the back of the tub.

" come on Jah" I said assuringly.
He shyly stepped into the tub.

" sit down silly" I joked at his shyness.
He slowly sat down with his back facing me still leaving room between the both of us.

" there's no reason to be scared of me" I chuckle referring to how far away he sat from me.
I grabbed the sides of his waist pulling him closer to me which caused Jah to jump in surprise at the sudden touch.

" relax Jah, it's ok" I assure him.

I grab a wash cloth to start cleaning him.
I softly run the cloth over his back.

" Jah lift your arms up for me" I ask him so I can clean them.

I continue but I can tell Jah is starting to get sleepy.
With no warning Jah lays his body against mine as his eyes fully close.

I can't help but chuckle at his cuteness.
I wrap my arms around his clean body and softly play with his dreads.

So this chapters a little shorter but I promise the next one will be long and interesting
Aren't stoke and Jah cute?
