Stokeley's pov:

Jah was staring at me with a blank expression.
For once I didn't know what he was going to say.

" Jah?" I say in a questioning tone.

Before I knew his small frame collided with mine. I immediately responded by wrapping my arms around him.

" I'm taking that as a yes" I lightly chuckle while lifting his chin.
I saw small tears leave his eyes as he blushed.

"I got you something" I inform him before going to get what I got.
I got him another stuffie but this one was a plain, brown, teddy bear.
I thought it would be cute with his teddy bear onesie.

" you ready" I ask holding the teddy bear behind my back.
Jah nods his head excitedly.

I take the bear from behind my back to show him curious to see his reaction.
Jah immediately takes the bear from my hands as his whole face seems to light up.

" well I'm glad you like it" I inform him finding it adorable to how much he loves it.

Before I knew he is engulfing me in another hug and I hear him softly stutter " thank you"

" your welcome Jah" I assure him.

" maybe you should go take a nap since you didn't get much sleep last night" I suggest to him. This will probably help him slip easier too. Jah nods while jumping up wrapping his legs around my waist.

" ok then" I chuckle while supporting the back of his thighs.

I laid him down gently when I reached his bed.

" please" I hear him softly mumble.
I knew that meant he wanted me to stay with him.

" alright" I jokingly sigh while sliding in next to him.

Jahseh's pov:

I couldn't believe stokeley is now my new daddy.
I never thought we'd ever get this far. I thought once I got back on my feet he'd throw me out.
No ones ever cared for me the way he has. I just feel so safe and protected around him. I couldn't wish for nothing more.

I felt his arms wrap around my waist and I got a tingling and warm feeling inside of me.
I soon was able to drift off to sleep.

I slowly woke up noticing Stokes arms were no longer around me. I looked over to see if he was still sleeping but I didn't see Stokeley.

I saw kimetrius.

I rushed out of bed yelling for Stokeley.
I looked in every room but he wasn't there.

" what you doing out of bed" I hear kimetrius say in a warning tone.

I panic and head for the door.
Kimetrius runs after me and I can't help but think I'll never get to be truly free from him.

Before I'm able to turn the knob I feel kimetrius's tight grip hold me back.

" noooo" I cry.
I thought it was over.
So why does he keep coming back?

He roughly shoves me against the wall before holding out a blade.
I then felt a stinging pain ride down my arm and there was nothing I could do about it.
All I could do was cry.

Stokeley's pov:

I began to wake up when I heard slight whimpers coming from Jah.
I immediately became concerned when it turned into crying.

" Jah...Jah... wake up." I tried.
Yet he continued to be stuck in what seems to be a nightmare.

" Jah.. it's okay... please wake up." I try again but this time a little louder.

It seemed to be working because his eyes were now opening.

" Jah it's ok... your safe, it was just a nightmare" I try reassuring him.

How can someone so innocent be so hurt?
Before I knew it Jah jumps into my arms still slightly crying.

" it's ok" I repeated while playing with his dreads.
I wonder what got him so worked up.
I'll ask him later though, Once he has time to calm down.
