Chapter 5

Claudia's POV

"Heyy Kelly! What's wrong?" I asked.
"Uncle Lenny is sick (Kelly's butler). So my big bro is going to to pick me up instead. But-....." she said.
"-He is late" I said completing her sentence.
She nodded and sighed.
Her brother must have been stuck somewhere I guess.
"Hey.... it's ok. I will wait with you till your brother comes, Okay?" I said.
She grinned happily and agreed

We got busy talking with each other......
As in, she was talking and I was listening.
She was telling me about her family, nanny, friends, favourite toys,......and last but not the least her 'big bro' as in Ken or something like she said.

Hmmmm... he seems to be a good person. Not like that idiot, I met few days back...

😡urghhh now why m i thinking about him?!!

"Claudy?...Claudyyyyy!!!!!" She said snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Oh! M sorry. Tell, what happened?" I asked bringing my attention towards her.
She suddenly facepalmed and shook her head...uhh!? Now What??

"Ohhh, Poor Claudy, why are you so lost? Your phone is ringing" she explained.
Oh! Now I get it. Hehe😆
I sheepishly smiled at her and got my phone outta my bag.

   'Oh shit, 3 missed calls from Mom!! Things are about to set on fire!!!- I thought.

    "Indeed it is, young lady. It's getting late and you should be home by now..." said my mom from other side.
    "Oh! Sorry did I said that out loud?" I asked sheepishly.
"Hahahaha, it's fine and yes you did. And when will you be planning to come home your highness?? Just so you know, I made your favourite chocolate cake" she said excitedly.
I smile. She is just like me... getting excited over small things.😁
"Niiiiceee, Thanks mom. I will be home soon. Bye, love you" I said
"Bye. Love you too" she said.

As I hung up my phone, I went to check over Kelly, but I only saw Anna standing alone and waving at the door. Anna is the cleaner. I think she just finished her work and was about to leave.
"Heyy Anna, Where's Kelly?" I asked.
"Oh she just went home. Her brother came to pick her up" she said and smiled still looking the door.
"Kelly is a really lucky girl to have a brother like him. His looks screams rude, cold and what not. But from inside he is just a typical protective brother scared to lose his sister." she said clearing my confusion.
Indeed Kelly is a lucky girl.
I saw her brother's back as he carefully picked her up and sat her in the passenger seat. I never met him personally but after what I heard, he must really be a nice guy. Too bad, I didn't get to meet him.

He was somewhat familiar.......

Maybe a magazine?
Richie rich people... 24/7 stuck in the magazines.
Hey that somewhat rhymes?!!

After we locked up the kindergarten we left on our own ways.
I reached home and was instantly greeted by tasty and delicious smell of choco cake and my mom's dinner.

I ate, fulfilling my stomach's wishes and went straight to bed.

Uhhh!! I was tired as hell. I don't know why but my mind just can't stop thinking about Kelly's brother and that idiot. He looks really familiar. I can't really point it out but it's still there.

Maybe I'll ask Kelly, a pic of her brother tomorrow. No!! That sounds so creepy. She will be weirded out by me.
Nevermind.
Why should I care about some rich guy??

Ignoring my unnecessary thoughts, I drifted off to sleep...
