In Between

Part 11

In a quiet night when almost half of the world was sleeping, two people were still continuing the conversation because one person claimed to not be able to sleep because of questions in his mind which still made him very curious. The question he actually wanted to ask days ago. under a blanket that almost covered his entire body Can ventured to ask that question to P'Chao.

"Why do you want to kiss me?",

" I thought you want me to forget it",

" just answer it... I'm curious "

" because you're so adorable "

" Jeez... what kind of answer is that?! "

" so... you don't like it? are you mad? "

" a little... "

" I'm sorry... "

"Well... You said I kissed you first ... So, it was on the lips? When?",

"On the first day we met ... and no ...is not on the lips",

"what?! So Where is it then?"

" On the cheek..."

"I lost then ... how could you call it break even!",

"So you like something even?"

" Of course..."

" Then I'll pay for one more thing that hasn't break even..."

"Wha- ... what?"

you said that you like me at that night and you made me like you for real "

" umm... I'm sleepy...goodnight! " , Can hang up the phone and hiding in blanket as there are peoples who can see his face blushed madly.

The conversation was ended with the flushed of the albino monkey's cheeks and the oriental man's happy smile as he can see that the albino monkey's face blushed after he said that words.

One person is in love and another person is being loved is one of billions of stories that happened that night.

Falling in love is not something new to Chao, but it was a completely new experience when the person he fall in love with is a guy. He is not oppose it, instead He embrace it. That's why he never doubt his feeling, that he has falling for Can and bravely confess his feeling towards him.

for him to convey his feelings just made him happy, no need to rush to hear the answer from the little monkey. He wanted the albino monkey to give his banana voluntarily without having to take it by force. Imagining that day would come already made his lips involuntarily form a smile.

This time, Can felt a such a different feeling compare to the Tin confession. when P'Chao did, he felt a sense of guilt. Even though he himself did not know who he was guilty of. Well, He did nothing. Falling in love can't be planned and he realized there was no standard for love.

Still, He doesn't know what to answer ...

P'Chao still treats acts as usual, unless he spends more time with Can's friends or contacted Can more often. At the very least, He can feel relieved because it reduces the clumsiness he should feel.

Even though P'chao never forced Can to answer it. But it can't kept Can away from thinking about it every day.

And football is back to being his temporary escape...

The shadows were now twice as long as themselves, the sun was already dipping behind the horizon. All the soccer team member slowly left the soccer field after tired of practicing since the sun still shines brightly.

Good patted Can's back which was still gasped with all the sweat covering his body giving a signal he left first to get ready to go home. Can nodded.

The touch of the wind that greeted his sweaty body made him feel like he want to spend more time in the field.

Can sat his body down on the grass field. Then laying down his body on it, try to release all the tense in his muscle after a long day practice. He close his eyes and slowly feeling the brisk wind which increasingly relaxes his body. He didn't care if he would fell a sleep on the grass at this point. Hi breathing slowly became calm, began to fall asleep.

Not long after Can is asleep. There is Someone standing at the same direction as Can, blocking Can's face with his shadow.

That someone is smiling looking at the boy sleeping on the grass don't care that he is alone in that field, don't care about the time.

As the sky gone darken the field lights start to light up, waking up the boy.

The hand placed on his forehead slowly dropped as he began to open his eyes and found Someone who had been standing looking at him. The man greet him with a small laugh.

He could'nt see the face of the person clearly because of the light behind him. He can only see his silhouette. A familiar silhoutte. Until that man bent further towards him.

His eyes immediately widened in surprise when he could clearly see who the man was.
