Hello my lovely readers! It's been a really really long time.
I am currently attending Temple University as a double major in composition and piano performance, and it has been a wild ride to say the least. I haven't had time to write for a very long time, but recently I've been getting back into the Survivors novel.
So I've been editing over Christmas break and realizing that the book is actually very good... until it's just not good at all starting about chapter 10. I'm going to keep editing so I can change that. I also have realized that there are a lot of opportunities for character development that I missed and want to fix, and some potential plot holes that should be filled.
I also started to realize that Lana and the gang's story might serve better as a series because of its complexity and number of characters, but I am very conflicted about this, mostly because I feel like there needs to be even more to the story if I'm going to split it up into multiple books.
It has been really interesting to look back on this story that I started in 6th grade and see where I've grown, and where maybe I haven't changed at all.
Thank you all for reading this story it has meant so much to me. The reason that I am posting this update is not just to tell you that I've been getting back into writing, but to tell you that I am going to post the edited version of Survivors as a separate book on my profile and see how it does. I'm planning on spending a lot of time writing it and then post once a week once I have it all finished.
