There are always stories about how the almighty Zeus did this.

How he did that.

The king of olympus.

The most powerful god. Sitting on the throne in the center, tall and proud seemingly without a care in the world.

He exuded power.

That's what Jungkook was expected of, too.

Born from Hera, he is the only child of their marriage. Of course, he has plenty of other siblings.

Jungkook is tasked with being the perfect son.

He has to look a certain way.

Act a certain way.

Be powerful.

Be strong.

Show no weaknesses and sit tall and proud on the throne.

But Zeus was immortal, so why the hell did his son have to act perfectly? It's not like many even worshipped them anymore.

And Jungkook would never sit on his father's throne.

So why couldn't he just be carefree and be the kid he was? Live his life to the fullest, do what he wanted to?

Why did he have to hang out with certain people?

Why did his father send random goddesses to him?

Why was he forced to go to earth in search of a woman?

Jungkook wasn't like that.

And he never would be.

But he was trapped.

Stuck in the expectations and responsibilities of being Zeus's favorite son.

He was forced to attend parties.

Chat with gods and goddesses he hated.

Smile and show off.

Show how strong he was.

What kind of power he possessed.

Show that he was on top and everyone was beneath him.

Show that he could have any woman he wanted.

Be everything he was not.

Jungkook could rarely break free of those chains that surrounded him.

Could rarely just let go and be himself.

He wanted to explore the world.

Discover new things.

Maybe fall in love.

But he was the son of Zeus.

The all powerful and almighty Zeus.
