Guess it's better off that way.

Your mother is crying,
Your father is dying.

You don't understand,
You can't feel the land.

You thought it wouldn't matter,
You thought they'd be gladder.
+
Sometimes, though,
Life hands you a ladder.
+
Soon enough, things get clear
And your mom stops her tears.
+
Your dad gets by,
There's no more lies
About flies.
He ties his tie.
+
Life is hard,
You get handed some cards.
+
People need to see,
And get handed a key.
+
People need to teach,
And preach.
+
We're all the same, can't you see;
So why don't you go and stop laughing at me.
