I love you.
It used to be our thing.
The cow fields,
Do you remember?
That was our home;
Our safe haven.
I know I've done things in the past
That I'm not proud of.
But just know that I miss you;
And I hope you're watching over me.
I'm sorry we didn't get our last say;
Not everything can go our way.
So I'll continue to keep things at bay,
As I lay.
