Dear Mom,
I'm sorry for all the pain,
I'm sorry for all the tears.
I'm sorry I couldn't tell you,
what was really going on inside.
I didn't want you to worry,
I didn't want you to hurt.
But now I need you more than ever,
That's why I'm writing this book.
You've told me right from wrong,
you told me what was going on.
How could I not trust you?
To make my life no pain?
So I'm sorry for the things I've said,
I'm sorry you have to cry.
I'm sorry you watched me die;
instead of seeing me cry.
If I were still alive,
this is what I'd say.
I'm sorry you never noticed.
I love you,
and goodbye.
