I remember the first time you said "I love you,"

It took my breath away.

Everything was fine then,

But now you're not okay.

I don't know what to do,

I feel like a fool.

Now I'm feeling lost,

As you leave on my windows, frost.

What happened to us,

That made us go astray?

Now all that's left,

Is this dirty ashtray.

I wish for things to be different,

I wish you would care.

I wish I could find a way to hold on,

As my heart tares.

I miss you all the time,

For now, I'll pay some dimes.
