"So who's 'the man' in the house?" Paige asked with a very prevalent smirk on her face.

"I'm not even touchin' that one." Lachlan commented before the whole table burst into laughter. They all knew the true answer to that question. Once they had all cleared the table Becky was held back by Charlotte.

"I really am mad at you for keeping us from him." She commented before she was pulled into a side hug. "But he is perfect for you. So please bring him to more shows."

"Of course Char. I know he's going to make me bring him along now." The blonde nodded with a smile before the two separated.

It was the next evening during Smackdown that things changed.

"Are ye fuukin' nuts!?" Lachlan asked Becky when she finally entered her dressing room. She had filmed a fight segment with Charlotte then her little car getaway before going to see the doctors about her knee. As tears began to fall his arms quickly wrapped around her. Quietly she cried into his shirt. This only stopped when Charlotte opened the door closing it as quickly as she could when she saw Becky crying. "What happened?"

"I have to take some time off." Was all he got from her before she pulled away and quickly gathered her belongings. Lachlan took the bag from her before she basically pushed past him and just about knocked over Charlotte as she left.

"Becky I.." Lachlan shook his head carefully at the blonde.

"It's not your fault. She's mad at herself more than anything. We'll see you around Charlotte." He spoke softly before he moved to catch up with a limping Becky. Slowly his arm moved around her back before she put most of her weight on him.

"We have a flight tonight to LA." He nodded before he drove to their hotel. As they gathered their things he watched her carefully. She wouldn't let him help her until her frustration finally boiled over. "Why the fuck does this keep happening to me!" He dodged the shoe that was inadvertently thrown towards his head. Lachlan knew better than to say anything. Instead he opted to slowly help her gather her things.

When she couldn't get one of her bags shut she was about to throw it across the room before he caught her hands. As the bag was set back down she collapsed into him her tears flowing once more. His hands ran along her back soothing and quieting her in the process.

"Studs 'll be happy to see ya." He finally got a chuckle and smile from her. He sometimes thought she loved to dogs more than him but both knew that wasn't possible. His fingertips gently wiped her tears away before his lips met her forehead. "Everything will be alright love. You'll be back before you even realize it. You'll be back better than ever and nobody will expect it." He said softly before she nodded. Her smile was large on her face before she connected their lips.

"God I love you. I'm glad I get to spend some time with you." He chuckled lightly before shrugging.

"I guess. I mean when I have time..." Lachlan trailed off when Becky began to laugh. He worked when he wanted to and owned his own business so time was never a problem. They zipped the last of the bags before he took the majority and they made their way to the airport.

Once back in LA Becky moved towards the couch before her arms extended towards him. Instead of moving to lay with her he gently scooped her up. She looked at him confused before she was finally able to sink down in their bed. His hands carefully pulled her pants from her body. As she sat up she raised an eyebrow at him.

"Tell me your comfortable sleeping in jeans." He challenged before she rolled her eyes.

"You sure you didn't just want to see me legs?" He smirked.

"Trust me love. I wouldn't just want to see your legs." When he winked her face turned bright red. She knew exactly what he was thinking. When he moved over her his shirt was slid off before she quickly flipped him over her hands pressing down on his chest as she smirked. That's when his expression changed. He immediately began breathing rapidly.

Becky could hear a slight wheeze in his heaving chest before she moved off of him. She watched as he sat up his body slightly hunched as his shoulders were rising up and down quickly.

When Lachlan moved to turn towards her she could see his entire body shaking. She stood in a panic before he slowly followed. As he teetered she caught him carefully. Concern was coating her face. He finally turned towards her his lips slightly blue.

"I-I." He was wheezing before she ignored the pain in her leg and basically carried him to the car. She thankfully had a sweatshirt for him in next to her from the car ride home. As she took off towards the hospital he was doing his best to stay breathing. He was given the article of clothing before he was watched out of the corners of her eyes as he shakily slipped the cotton over his body. It was at that moment that Becky realized exactly how skinny Lachlan had gotten.

The second they walked through the doors the two were separated. He was immediately carted back while she was taken in a different direction her leg giving out underneath her.

It was hours before answers were given.
