I awaited for the doorbell to ring, any second now. I frequently checked my phone for any messages, but nothing.

I sighed, Minsung had left twenty minutes ago and I wished he had stayed. As I sat and looked at the clock ticking it only grew on my nerves.

So I got up and went to my food cabinet to find something to munch on, I was already starving and I couldn't wait any longer.

As I reached up for a snack I heard a ding from my phone and instantly stopped what I was doing. Was it him?

As I walked over to my resting phone, it was only a text message from Minsung trying to be nosy. I texted him back and told him the disappointing news.

I couldn't think of the worse thing, but then again I could. I could easily forget my faith in him and jump to conclusions.

What was taking him so long? My heart raced in my chest and I couldn't help but to clench my jaw. Maybe he didn't change, I thought.

I tried calling him again but no answer, I grew anxious and alert. Was I being played again?

I tried calling again, but it happened once again. Instead of wasting my night I decided to just have fun. So I got my things and walked towards the door.

As I harshly opened the door there he was, with his hands occupied with a large bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. What was this.

I grew flabbergasted and took a step back, "this was all last minute I'm sorry." He said with a timid smile.

"I- you didn't have to do this." I said taking a hold of the flowers. He dusted himself off and made himself inside.

"I see it's still the same since last time." He commented looking around at the apartment. I laid the bouquet of flowers on the kitchen counter and looked his way.

"Why were you late." I asked without beating around the bush. He looked back and looked a bit surprised at my bluntness.

"Work was keeping me up, and as a sign of my tardiness I brought you flowers and chocolate." He said with an innocent look.

I couldn't help but to feel uneasy, could I believe his words? "Look Jungkook I know you mean well but I can't help but to think differently. The flowers and chocolate was a nice gesture but I would've appreciated if you already had that in mind but to see it as a way of forgiveness for your tardiness." I said looking him dead in the eye.

His adorable sweet gentle face went into a serious numb expression. I wanted to step down a bit, but he had to know I stood a different ground.

"I get it but my past does not signify my new current actions, I'm trying Minsun. I'm trying to become a better me, but if that isn't enough for you then I don't know what else is." He wavered his voice.

Guilt ate away, but I took a deep breath. I looked back at his chocolate dark eyes and took two steps forward and kept the distance short.

"You're enough for me. You've always been enough, but I can't help but to feel insecure and self conscious when the person I crave to be with can be fulfilling someone else's pleasures." I said with a slow ragged breath.
