Mitchel's POV
6 months~

I throw my phone down on the makeshift bed Christian and I had and look around our bedroom. It felt weird calling it 'our' bedroom but it was a feeling I loved all at the same time. I walk back into the living room and look for the chair that went to my desk. I look over and see it in the corner by the window. I roll it into the bedroom and place it in the empty space. I step back and admire the one piece of furniture that was put together and looked nice. I hear the door unlock and I make my way back into the kitchen. The door opens and Christian appears with food in his hand and a smile on his face.

"food!" I grab the styrofoam container from his hands and place it on the counter.

"Hey Christian! I missed you. How are you doing? Oh, I'm great Mitchel. I missed you too. How are you?" I raise my eyebrow at his evident annoyance  that I cared more about the food than seeing him after a long day of being away from one another. He sets his keys down and gives me a kiss on my cheek.

"Do you only care about me when I bring you food?" He pouts and I can't help but give him a look of sympathy. I shrug and shove the forkful of spaghetti in my mouth. I swallow and grab the container as I make my way over to the only chair we had in our living room. We had ordered our couch two days ago but we had to wait another week for it to come.

"How was your day babe?" I finally ask. He shrugs and sits on the floor. I was tempted to move down on the floor with him but I decide against it.  "Long. We worked on some music, remind me to show you later. How was yours?"

"Stressful. Mike had me going over the choreography for three hours and then I had to practice singing for another three. I got home about ten minutes ago." I eat another bite and hand him the little bit of spaghetti that was left. I grab a cigarette and light it as he eats the rest.

"Thank you for the food. Our bed should be here today. I had a call from the company and they said someone would be over to put it together."

"Thank god. I'm tired of laying on the mattress. It's comfy and all but I'm too old to be putting myself down on the floor like that."

"You're younger than me you dumbass." I say to him, dumbfounded by his stupid answer. He shrugs and gets up. I burn the cigarette of water I had and get up too.

"That just means you're too old as well." I open a box of stuff we had left on the counter. I pull out a stack of neatly wrapped dishes and relief floods over me. I was hoping Jesse, Pat and Clinton had been kind enough to leave us something.

"I found our dishes. We don't need to use the paper plates anymore." I hand Christian the dishes and we decide what cabinet we're going put them in. Once we finish putting the dishes away, I put the glasses and silverware away as well.

"Our kitchen looks better already. We should go shopping for a pan and stuff since Clinton was a dick and took them all." Christian huffs.

"We can go after rehearsal if you want. We have to be there by nine and we leave at four, so we'll have some time." I suggest. Christian nods his head and we head into our bedroom. I sigh at the mess and grab another box. I look through it and notice it was a bunch of Christian's clothing. I shove it towards him and he slowly puts them away on his side of the dresser. We decided to keep my dresser instead of his since mine was bigger and had more space for the both of us. I hadn't let the thought of us moving in together fully sink in, but the more it did, the happier I became. It was a start of something brand new. A whole new beginning for both of us. I didn't know where it would take us but I was perfectly happy with how far we had come already. Months ago neither of us would've of dreamed to be where we are now, but I noticed that we were content and happy. At first I didn't think we were fully ready to move in with one another, but at the end of the day we were simply dating and nothing else had really changed. Our bond was still stronger than ever so it wasn't that weird for either of us. We had a two bedroom apartment that had one full bathroom and a half bathroom. I was thrilled when we scored a sliding glass doors which led out to a balcony with beautiful view of the city. That was something I was going to miss about our old house and my old bedroom, but now I had on here too. Our whole apartment had an open concept to it, which I became used to after about a week of living in our apartment. Jesse and Pat decided to live in our old house while they waited for it to be sold, and Clinton moved into an apartment complex near Christian and I. We were closer to the beach, which is what Christian wanted and he was happy we able to score that as well. We hear the door bell ring and we both look at one another.
