Ansel Pov:

My Aunties house is huge.

It's tucked away up a windy lane just outside of Truro.

I take a quick shower and decide on my outfit.

I choose a dark green top, black jeans and white converses.

"Auntie, where is the Nandos around here?" I ask, walking into the kitchen.

"Do you want me to drive you, Ansel?" She asks, smiling.

"If that's okay?" I ask.

"Of course it is." She nods and grabs her car keys.

-

"Do you want me to wait with you till she arrives?" My auntie asks.

"No, I'm okay thanks auntie." I smile.

"Alright. Have a nice time! Ring me when your done?"

"Will do!" I say and get out the car.

She winks at me and drives off.

Sally Pov:

I'm just round the corner from Nandos now.

I look at my mum panicked.

"What?" She asks.

"I'm nervous! Do I have anything in my teeth? Is my hair alright?" I ramble.

She laughs and hugs me, "You look beautiful! Go on, you don't wanna show up with your mother!"

She let's go and gives me a little push on the back.

I give her a worried look.

I straighten my skirt and walk round the corner.

I spot Ansel straight away.

He is leaning against a tree near the entrance for Nandos.

He looks up and spots me, he grins widely.

I walk up and we hug.

"You okay?" Ansel smiles.

"Yeah, you?" I ask.

"Always. You hungry?" He replies.

"Always." I smirk.

He opens the door to Nandos for me, and I walk in.

We get a table for two.

"Do you know what you want?" He asks me.

"Yeah i'll have a medium chicken burger with fries and a corn on the cob." I say.

"Cool, guess I'll have the same." He says.

"I'll get a waitress over." He says.

"No, Ansel. You order at the bar." I laugh.

"Oh. Whoops!" Ansel flushes.

"Have you not been to Nandos before?" I ask.

He looks at me, "Uh, no."

"Deprived child." I smile.

"Your calling me a child?! I'm an adult!" He jokes.

"Okay, okay. Fair enough! I am only just a teenager!"

Although he was joking it did show me that he was aware if our age gap.

Ansel goes to order our food.

"So what do you do in your spare time?" He asks, sitting back down.

"I do musical theatre, dance, that sort of thing." I tell him.

"Ooh! What musicals have you been in?" He asks, seeming genuinely interested.

"Les mis-"

"Oh my god. That's my favourite one!!" He smiles.

"Me too!" I chuckle. "I also played Annie in 'Annie', Children of Eden, Wizard of Oz, The lion the witch and the wardrobe and a few more."

Ansel raises his eyebrows, "Impressive!"

I shrug humbly.

Our food arrives a few minutes later.

Ansel takes a bite of his burger. "Oh nice!" He says looking at his burger.

"I know right!" I say biting a chip.

"Spicy though!" He says, sipping his water.

I laugh.

The evening was great.

Ansel and I had a lot in common. We talked for hours. We could have talked for longer but my mum came looking for me. Ansel promised he would ring me tommorow to plan some more outings for this week.

When I get home I get into my pjs hop into bed and fall asleep with a smile on my face.
