Chapter 19- Spare Parts

Connor, Lee, Kenny, and Maddie M are all at the CyberLife Warehouses. 

Kenny: This is crazy... If they catch us, we're dead... 

Lee: What do we do now? 

Connor: We need to find the CyberLife warehouse. That's where they keep the spare parts and blue blood. 

Maddie McWilliams: Follow me.

Kenny: Don't let them see us.

Maddie McWilliams: Watch out! 

Kenny: Now what do we do? 

Maddie McWilliams: I'll find another way...

Connor follows Maddie M. 

Maddie McWilliams: Connor, climb up here! The warehouse is up ahead. We're almost there.

Lee: CyberLife warehouses...They have everything we're looking for... 

Maddie McWilliams: First, we have to get rid of that drone... 

Connor: Leave it to me.

Connor is successful in taking down the drone.

Lee: You okay? 

Connor: Yeah.... Yeah, I'm fine. 

Maddie McWilliams: Good job, Connor...

Lee: Quick, open up the crates and fill your bags. Take as much as you can.

A guard arrives while they are stealing the stuff required to fix the wounded.

Markus: You are trespassing on private property. Your presence constitutes a Level 2 infraction. I will notify security. 

Guard: MARKUS! Goddamn machine... Where is it this time?

Connor grabs and holds Markus. All of them hide.

Guard: Markus? 

Connor: I need your help. 

Guard: Markus?

They keep hiding. Connor doesn't let Markus go. 

Guard: First the drone, now this... Just my luck...

The guard goes away. They all come out of hiding. 

Lee: Let's finish up and get out of here. Try to find some blue blood. We still don't have enough!

Connor sees a bigger crate and opens it. Inside are more androids. 

Connor: Why aren't you like us? Don't you wanna be free?

Connor frees the androids in the crate.

Lee: That's all we can carry. Let's go. 

Markus: Take me with you. 

Maddie McWilliams: He's on their side. We can't trust him. 

Kenny: He took a risk for us. We can't just leave him here.

Lee: We can't bring them back with us. It's too dangerous!

Connor decides to bring Markus back with them. 

Connor: They come with us.

Markus: I know where you can find more spare parts. 

Lee: What do you mean? 

Markus: The trucks. They're full of biocomponents. They run on auto pilot, but they can be driven manually with a key. 

Connor: Where is this key? 

Markus: Down there, in the control station. There are two human guards. You'll have to get the key without being noticed. 

Lee: This is suicide, Connor. Our bags are full. We got what we came for, let's go before they catch us. 

Maddie McWilliams: This is a truck full of spare parts... There'd be enough for all of us... We can't pass this up! 

Kenny: And if we get killed, our people will have nothing. We can't take that chance. It's too risky!

Connor decides to get the key.

Connor: Wait here. If I'm not back in ten minutes go without me. 

Kenny: Connor... 

Maddie McWilliams: I'm coming with you. 

Connor: No, I'm going alone. It's not worth it for both of us to risk losing our lives.

Connor gets to the control room. 

Guard 1: Goddamn dogs... What the fuck are they barking at?.. 

Guard 2: Could be the weather... They don't like storms... 

Guard 1: Yeah, I was going to take my kids camping this weekend. So much for that. 

Guard 2: Is Mike still in zone 4? 

Guard 1: Looks like it... 

Guard 2: He should be done already... 

Guard 1: Better off in here than out patrolling in that.

Connor gets inside and creates a short- circuit.

Guard 1: Shit, what's going on?  

Guard 2: Lights are still on outside. Must be the fuse box... 

Guard 1: I got a flashlight somewhere... Here it is. 

Guard 2: Fuses are over there. 

Guard 1: I don't know shit about electricity...and I don't get paid to fix fuses! 

Guard 2: Let's just flip the switch... If that doesn't work, we can call maintenance... 

Guard 1: What the fuck is this?.. There must be someone in here... Show yourself! We know you're here! 

Guard 2: I don't know what you think you're doing, but you better come out right now!

Connor gets the key and goes back to the group. 

Maddie McWilliams: Did you get it? Nice.

Connor and the group get in the truck and go back to White Field. 

Lee: A truckload! We stole a whole truckload! 

Kenny: We got biocomponents for everybody! 

Maddie McWilliams: We couldn't have done it without Connor...

Connor: I came to White Field because...here androids are free... Free to live in the dark, hoping that no one finds us... Free to die in silence waiting for a change that's never gonna come... But I don't want that freedom... And I'm not gonna beg for the right to smile, or love, or stand tall... I don't know about you, but there's something inside me that knows that I am more than what they say. I am alive, and they're not gonna take that from me anymore... Our days of slavery are over. What humans don't wanna hear, we will tell them. What they don't wanna give, we take. We are people, we are alive, WE ARE FREE!
