Samantha was still holding tightly onto Steve, her breathing still unsteady as her heart beat was fast. She looked to Steve who had a distant look in his eyes, like he lost something that he could never get back. The girl frowned and pulled away slightly. "What was your nightmare?" She asked, thinking for a small moment that she knew what it could have been.

Peggy Carter. Steve Rodgers was close to Samantha, the two having told each other everything since they had to work together to get her to be a SHIELD agent.

He looked at her while shaking his head. "I don't wanna talk about it." He mumbled, the girl nodding her head.

"You know mine." She whispered, Steve tensing slightly while the girl went on. "It was Steve, the one I knew when I was a child. How I..." she paused while swallowing thickly. "How I killed him." She muttered while Steve shushed her.

"That's in the past now, Sam. You don't need to think about that anymore." He told her, rubbing her cheek soothingly while she pushed him away.

"I can't stop thinking about it. He trusted me. He let me in his home, and I just- -" she stopped while looking to the ground. "I could feel his heart beating in my hand." She told Steve, the girl not wanting to see the look he was giving her.

It was pity, she knew this since that's all he gave her. "Hey, you wanna switch out?" Tony asked Clint, the girl taking the time to forget about her past to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"No, I'm good. If you wanna get some kip, nows a good time, because we're still a few hours out." Clint told him, not taking his eyes off the sky.

"Few hours from where?" Tony asked and Clint smiled.

"A safe house." He answered, and it took a whole night for them to land near a home that was in the middle of no where. Everyone got out while walking over to the white wooden house as Clint helped Natasha up the stairs.

"What is this place?" Thor asked, looking around.

"Safe house." Tony said, slightly confused as to where they were.

"Let's hope." Clint said, opening the door while everyone stepped inside. Samantha looked over to Steve, her senses were heightened until she felt a hand wrap around her own. Her eyes widened while Steve's face went slightly red and the girl bit her lip while hearing Tony snicker.

"Teenagers." He teased while the girl glared at him.

"Honey? I'm home." Clint called out, a woman appearing from the kitchen with a large stomach and holding art supplies. "Hi." He said happily, the woman staring over the team. "Company. Sorry, I didn't call ahead." He apologized while she just grabbed his face and kissed him.
