"You really don't have to walk me to my door," I assured.

"What kind of guy would I be if I didn't. Plus, It gets me a few more minutes with you." He smiled and I couldn't help but blush. As we approached the door. my palms began to sweat almost immediately. "I had a really fun time tonight."

I smiled up at him, "Me too."

His eyes flicked to my lips and back to my eyes. Now, I was no expert but I'm pretty sure that meant he wanted to kiss me. Did I even want him to kiss me? I mean, sure he's attractive and all but we just got done with our first date and I although I had a good time, I didn't know much about him. His hand gripped my waist, pulling me closer. Holy crap nuggets. Was this actually happening? I wasn't even sure I wanted it to. He was slowly leaning in.

'Shit Mason, If you don't want this to happen, your ass better speak now or forever hold it's peace.'

The front door quickly opened which made Luke's hand drop away as he stepped back. I let out a deep breath I hadn't been aware I was holding. I had assumed it was someone who was meant to be leaving and just so happened to open the door at that exact moment. However, as soon as I saw the indignant look encompassing Alex's face, I could tell it was anything but a mere coincidence.

Without warning, he grabbed my bicep and pulled me towards him while saying, "Thanks for bringing her home safely. She'll talk to you never, bye now." Then swiftly, he slammed the door shut in Luke's face.

I gaped, shocked at what he had just done. I had thought him showing up on our date was bad enough but seeing as he left us alone and I no longer saw him for the rest of the night, I figured he'd gotten over himself. Well, apparently not. "What the actual fuck, Alex?" I blurted, still staring at the front door.

"It was the end of the date Mason." he muttered.

I scoff, "Uh, I'm pretty sure I'm the one who gets to decide that, not you. Honestly, I don't even know the proper way to react to this situation. Why the hell are you still here? Why do you care? Why can't you just leave me alone? I meet a nice guy and you forbid me from talking to him, then he asks me out and you get all pissy and somehow find out where our date it and show up, and then I'm having a conversation with him and you show up again, pull me inside and slam the door in his face while telling him that I'm never going to speak to him again. What the hell is happening? What is wrong with you? How did you even find out where we were going when I didn't even know?"
