Wesley smiled down at me once more. Moving to the side, he kept one arm wrapped around me, his fingers resting on the edge of my hip bone. Why the hell did he smell so damn good?

"You have a boyfriend?"

Everyone's head whipped to the tattooed boy who looked angrier than I had ever seen him.

Miles' smiled widened. "Duh, didn't someone tell you?"

Alex shook his head, his jaw taut. "I swear one of us told you. Oh well."

"Awh, how cute are you being the overprotective brother." Layla cooed, latching onto Alex's arm.

Grayson choked on nothing. "Brother, What the actual fuck?" Miles subtly pinched him to get him to shut up. "Ow, why'd you do that?"

"Okay, so now that everyone has met everyone. Mason, Wesley, Grayson and I have plans today so we'll see you two later. Or not, probably not because I don't want to." With that, he turned around and walked out of the kitchen, the three of us following him.

To be honest, I had absolutely no idea why I was following him. Hell, I didn't know what was even going on. We kept going until we reached Grayson's car, all of us climbing in. The boys stayed quiet, talking as if this was all normal.

"Um, okay. Is anyone going to tell me what's going on?"

"Oh, well Gray and I wanted to go do some shopping and then maybe get something to eat."

"What? No. I mean, what the hell is going on? Who the hell is this?" I demanded, jutting my finger towards the man beside me.

"We already told you, this is Wesley." Miles deadpanned as if everything was completely normal.

"Quit fucking around Miles. What the hell is going on?"

"Okay, okay. This is Wes, he works with Grayson. We asked him to come over and pretend to be your boyfriend."

"Why in God's name would you do that?"

"To make Alex jealous, duh."

"Miles, what the hell? You can't just have some guy pretend to date me to make Alex jealous. How did you even know he'd be in the kitchen?"

"That, I didn't actually know. I mean, you have to admit though, it did work out pretty damn well."

I sighed, exasperated. "No, Miles it didn't. I don't, why would you think this would be a good idea?"

"Because Mase, you were so upset about Alex and Layla and I don't know, I just, I wanted you to be happy."

I smiled, "I am."

"Let's not bullshit each other. I know that you still have feelings for Alex and I know he still has feelings for you. I also know that it hurt to see him with another girl and although Wesley's not your actual boyfriend, you have to admit that it felt good seeing how much it bothered Alex."
