Chapter 8 { Accepting him }

Luna P.O.V

ok, what is happening here? I slowly made my way towards the chair beside my mom's one and sat down quietly. I was still somehow confused.

dad was first to talk " let's order first then we can talk about why we gathered here today" the same waiter who showed us the room came inside once more and took our orders, and it didn't take long maybe about 20 minutes before the food arrived

" so Mr. Adrain, as we discussed before I would be more than glad if you and my daughter will join hands in marriage" I chock on my drink when I heard that.

What the hell!!! so.... so the one who I am gonna marry is actually Asher, GOD what is happening here?

mom quickly started to pat my back so I can get rid of my cough

" Miss Luna are you alright ?" I heard Asher voice I nodded my head in respond

" I am fine Mr. Adrain, but dad what do you mean by that ?" I am not dumb I get what he said but I just need to make sure

" well Luna Mr.Adrain gladly requested your hand for marriage after he heard about me looking for a suitable man for you," my dad said with a smile

" is that true ?" I asked again, but this time towards Asher he nodded his head

" but dad I can't marry him " those words came out more bitter than I thought they would taste in my tongue and for some odd reason I didn't dare to look at Asher.

" what do you mean by that ?" Dad asked sounding a bit angry

" Mr. and Mrs.Alexander May I have a word with Miss Luna? Alone?" Asher requested as he stood up from his seat

" Sure we will be waiting here then, but please don't take too long," my mom said with a smile

" Miss Luna shall we, " He asked formally I didn't have much choice so I stood up and followed him. We got in one of the elevators and he touched one of the buttons, it was dead silence. the elevator door opened and I was welcomed by fresh air.

We are actually at the rooftop? I didn't even know an elevator can take you right to the rooftop, this is the first time i see something like this

He was first to get out and I followed behind, we stood near the edge which hell I didn't dare to get any closer this is too damn high

" Miss Luna, may I know the reason behind you rejecting me? is there something wrong with me?" He asked which made me a bit surprised

" No there is nothing wrong with you, you are a really good person, but the real question here is why do you actually want to marry me? I mean there is plenty of other girls out there right? Why will you get into an arranged marriage if you can do things your way ?" I was really curious this seems really strange

" and why not you? There are plenty other girls out there i know, I am 21 and till now no one took my attention" he replied

" and I did? Why will I take your attention?" I asked

Damn it, Luna! you look like a shameless girl want to make a guy confuse his love for her

" Miss Luna you are really kind not everyone can adopt a wild animal after his parents are dead and I really wanted to give it a try with you... I understand if you don't want this, but I hope you will also give it a try I can promise that you won't regret it " his voice held so much power, I am a lair if I say I didn't believe in it

I heaved a sigh

" Mr.Adrain you are a really kind person and I don't think I would mind giving this a try but... you see, can we not get married right away? Like can we take things slow ? " i asked hopefully, he looked over to me with a smile

" as you wish we won't get married right away and we will take things slow" I nodded my head in agreement

" then let's start over, shall we? Hi, I am Luna Alexander call me Luna please, it is a pleasure meeting you!" I said somehow excited offering my hand for him to shake, he looked at my hand and back to my face a bit confused then a realization showed in his face

" h-hi I am Asher Adrian call me Asher and the pleasure is all mine," He said as he accepted the handshake

" so Luna how about we get back to your parents now ?" He is right

I nodded my head and we made our way back to my parents, I am actually somehow feeling happy right now and relived about the fact it turns out to be him

I don't even know why I would be happy or relieved about the fact it is him, this is only our third meeting for the god sake.

Getting back to my parents the plans of my future were made, we wouldn't be getting married right away but so that we would get to know each other better we gonna live in the same house.

Well I don't mind that actually it doesn't sound bad, we will get to know each other and I know enough self-defense to not let anyone touch me in any way I don't want to, so I am not afraid of anything, he doesn't seem like someone bad in the first place so I don't think there is anything to worry about.

After we were done and discussed everything, I and my parents left first, Asher stayed there to finish some business as he said, just hope he will be fine. I can't wait to get home and call jenny to tell her all that happened tonight or maybe I will just tell her tomorrow face to face, I think is better that way.

When we got home I wasted no time getting in my room and straight to the bathroom to finish my night routines and remove my make up.

After I was done with everything and put on my Pyjamas I hop in my bed putting the cover over me, looking beside my bed Alpha is sound asleep in his sleeping house so I switched off the light and I fell asleep in no time.

The next day I woke up early once more since I have school today, I still feel really tired but I am helpless there is nothing I can do about it.

Getting into the shower and finishing my morning routine including putting my on an outfit, I got out of my closet and with Alpha in my arms, we walked downstair.

The dining room was empty, Am I late or something?

" young miss, Madam Cindy asked me to tell you tomorrow night Mr.Adrain will be invited for dinner and after dinner, you will be moving to your new home.
Mrs. And Ms. Alexander left for a Business trip so they might be back in three days also young Master is having an excursion today which will take 5 days " my favorite Chef of all the time Miss Carol informed me

"am I even living in this house? Why does nobody tell me anything for god sake !" I cried in annoyance. tomorrow I will move to my new home and none of my family members are here.

" I am glad you are not having a trip Miss carol what will I do without you too ?" I told her truthfully she was also my nanny so I look at her as my second mom

" aww  it is fine young Miss I won't leave you don't worry, now shu you will be late for school" I nodded my head as I took my bag and walked towards my car hopping in and made my way towards school

" LUNA YOU ARE HERE !!" I heard shouting voice before the owner jumped on me

" Jenny, why are you getting heavy ?" I asked

" shut up! tell me about yesterday! What happened?! Who was it?! Was he handsome? did you like him? Will you get married? Did you accept it? Did you reject it-" I covered her mouth quickly looking around, thank god no one was around

" relax girl I will tell you everything later, why won't you come over tonight? we will have a girl's night and I will tell you everything ?" I asked

" as long as I get the news, but by your mood now I can say it wasn't bad at all. anyways let's get to the class and we will talk about it all when we get home " I nodded my head and the long boring day of school started

I really hate school.
