Chapter 17 { falling for him }

Luna P.O.V

Asher is in the doorway, breathing heavily as if he has been running for along time. His eyes landed on me and he quickly rushed to my side before crushing me in his arms.

" Why did you left the house?! Do you know how worried I was ?! " he shouted as he tightened the hug making me hiss in pain.

He heard that and he backed away quickly. He looked at my face worriedly before traveling his gaze to my arms and stomach and I swear his chocolate iris darkened, that will happen only when someone is super pissed.

It might be because I have bruises on my face or because through my jacket the cuts from the twigs that were cutting me while I was running for my life is visible,

" h-how did that happen..?" He asked trying hard not to shout

"I-i..." I couldn't explain, what is wrong with me? talk! explain. I only looked down at my hands not being able to say anything and thankfully he didn't ask further. I heard him sighing before I felt his strong arms under my knees and behind my back, he then carried me bridal style. I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck afraid of falling down, but in his strong arms that won't be possible

He made his way towards upstairs and then to his room, he put me down softly on the bed in a sitting position, he walked over to the bathroom as he brought the first aid kit.he kneeled down in front of me

" I won't ask you what happened. just tell me when you are comfortable to do so, ok ?" He said softly as cupped my face in his hand, I slowly nodded.

He asked me to take off my jacket so he can treat my wounds and I didn't resist since I was wearing a sleeveless shirt underneath the jacket. He then slowly started to treat my wounds, it was mostly my arms and belly not to mention my feet that got twisted still hurt a lot. But all I was looking at was the floor in front of me. he asked me to bring my shirt up to he can clean my belly cuts too

" I-It's fine, I will do that myself " I whispered but he didn't buy it

" Please? I want to make sure your wounds are all treated " he requested again softly I sighed and I slowly lifted my shirt up enough for him to be able to treat my wounds not more than that. After he was done treating them as well he wrapped a bandage around my belly

" Where else does it hurt ?" He asked and I looked at my badly aching foot

" m-my left foot got twisted " I whispered he took my foot in his hands softly, I was so embarrassed by how kind he was treating me.

" This might hurt a bit " I was about to ask what he meant by that when he cracked it, making me shout in pain.

that hurt, hurt so much...

I felt tears running down my cheek once more, tonight I cried like I never cried in my life, tonight was just a nightmare that I hope it will never happen again...

" shuu, it is ok, baby, it is ok " Asher was quickly by my side wrapping his arms around me, bringing me to his warm embrace. I couldn't stop crying meanwhile Asher kept whispering sweet words in my ears, trying to calm me down and after some time it worked. But the moment I stopped crying was the moment my eyes got heavy, i was tired and I knew only a few more seconds left before I will be drifted to the darkness of my dreams.

Asher P.O.V

I hugged her whispering sweet words into her ears trying to calm her down.

it hurts seeing her cry like this, I wish I could just take all her pains away and put them all on me, so she wouldn't feel pain anymore.

She calmed down and it wasn't long before she fell asleep in my arms.
