ALEXANDRITE POV

After an hour drive we arrived at dad's tiny apartment. It was tiny but cute. According to mom, they were gonna buy a bigger house soon. 

The interior was also very beautiful and small. Dad volunteered to sleep in the coach until they purchased the new house. I immediately decided to call Stacy and Richard. Socks was getting used to the new house as well.

I stepped outside to examine the place and saw an extremely gorgeous male next door. He was super hot and took my breath away. I was dumbfounded. He waved and winked at me almost causing me to faint.

He came over and said "Hi. I'm James," he said almost turning me on by the sound of his voice.

"I-I'm A-Al-Alexandrite," I stutter like a damn fool.

"Nice to meet you Alexandrite. Can I get your number?" he asked.

Of course you can. You can have me as well.

"Uh sure," I say as he handed me his phone. 

"Alex come do something for me!" I hear my mom call out.

I know your nosy ass see me in the middle of something here.

"Ok ma!" I said turning into the house. 

"Bye pretty girl," he said causing me to blush like crazy.

"Yes ma?"

"Come show me how to connect the internet," she said. Mom knew exactly how to do it on her own. She just wanted me stop talking to James.

The entire night I was thinking about James. I just couldn't get him out of my head.

By morning mom and dad had already bout a house online so we were moving. WHICH MEANS I aint gon' ever see James and his foine ass again. I didn't even get his number.

This house was much bigger and beautiful. It also had 4 bedrooms. When we entered the house the real estate agent-Ms.Morey was there. 

She had also brought her son. 

"Goodafternoon Mr and Mrs Valley. This is my son Micheal. I'm sorry but I had to bring him along," she said.

"It's okay," dad said.

While mom and dad signed some papers I went over to Micheal who was very quiet and was deep deep down in his book which he was reading. He looked real nerdy.

"Hi!" I say.

I doubt he heard me because he didn't flinch or show any signs of hearing me. I tapped his shoulder which snapped him back into reality.

"I-I'm sorry," he said.

He was cute but I will choose James over him any day.

"I'm Micheal," he said.

"I know. Your mom told us. I'm Alexandrite," I say holding my palm out. He shook in and smiled a beautiful smile showing ff his pearly whites. 

"You new here?" he asked.

"Yup. Been raised on Pig Island for 16 whole years," I say.

"True. So your parents are buying this house huh?" he tried to continue the conversation.

Naw nigga! They just came to visit and leave.

"Yup! Aren't you gonna ask me what or where Pig Island is. That's always a topic when I tell people where I'm from," I say.

"I already know it's one of the uninhabited islands in the Bahamas that has many pigs," he said surprising me.

"You know a lot," I compliment.

"I read anything that's legible even if it makes no sense," he said.

Yup! He's a nerd!

 "And this I believe is the end. Thank you for your time and patience. Micheal, let's go!" Ms.Morey said.

"Nice meeting you Alexandrite. I hope we get to see each other again," Micheal smiled as he left with his parent. 

My family and I spent 3 hours packing out EVERYTHING we brought from Pig Island. 

By the time we had finish both mom and dad's family had came over.
