*Next Morning*
I wake up and feel no one beside me. I sit up and notice a note in the place that Ed should be in. I pick it up and read it twice until finally breaking down into sobs.
'Dear Lily,
'I'm sorry but I can no longer stay. Please understand that I will always love you. Take care.'
