I sat there, catching my breath. After I felt that I was ready to go, I heard guns clicking behind me. I let out a sigh, trying to keep myself calm. I launched myself off my cover and quickly hit the guy to my right, then picked up his gun and shot the remaining two.

"I still got it" I said to myself

After the soldiers stopped moving, I ran into the living quarters and saw Jason.

"Jason! you okay?" I asked

"Yeah Dash, I'm fine...glad you showed up while you did" He replied

"No problem" I said

Jason looked out the window.

"Ah hell, we got company" Jason said

He tossed me a gun and we ran out and took cover, waiting for our friends to arrive, but I saw Abby standing there. She was wearing a long sleeve skin tight shirt with some green on it, also some green shorts as well. Not the type of clothes she would wear.

"Abby?" I said softly

I began to walk towards her

"Dash...I don't think that's Abby!" Jason yelled

As I got closer, I could tell by the way she looked at me, this wasn't the same Abby I knew. She created a massive hammer, and she slammed it into my gut. I flew back faster than a speeding bullet, and hit the wall, like a bug on a windshield.

"Dash!!" screamed Jason

And that's all I heard before the world around me went black.

:------:

I shot awake as I fell off of something.

"Dash! are you okay?!" Jessica said, worry filling her whole face.

We were driving on a highway, I wasn't really sure where we are driving to, but then tears filled my eyes as I realized what happened

"Dash?...Dash! What happened! was it a bad dream?" asked Jessica

I continued to sob until I could be able to form words.

"It wasn't a dream...it was real!!" I cried

I felt Jessica's hand rub my back, trying to cheer me up. I just couldn't stop crying.

"it...was...Abby...She...is...with...them!" I sobbed

I saw Mercedees come up from the front of the van.

"That couldn't be Abby, I know her well enough, she would never join with them." Mercedees said

"Well, apparently your fucking blind! because that was Abby!" I cried

"But Rick, didn't you see her eyes?" Mercedees asked

"Yep filled with anger, she's the enemy now!" I shouted

"No her eyes were a duller shade of blue, like if she were dead. It's just a hunch, but I think she might be brainwashed" Mercedees replied

"Brainwashed?!" I asked

"Yeah...I mean it is possible, Delacroix may have a machine that can do that" Mercedees thought

I thought for a moment if Mr. Delacroix brainwashed Abby. Then who knows who else he has brainwashed also, I swear if I find him, I'll break his neck. The resistance carried me into our new base. The place was big and it looked really lovely, I drifted into sleep, the only thing filling my mind was Abby, and her face full of hatred.
