"Jimin?"
I woke up to the bed shaking and moving slightly, my sore eyes beginning to open after a night's rest. I'm greeted to Taehyung's face which had a very confused look upon it.
"Hey, sorry," I mumbled sitting up on the bed.
"W-What are you doing here?" He asked in a scared yet angry tone moving away from me slightly. I internally rolled my eyes, it's not like I was going to hurt him for God's sake.
"You got drunk and high last night so I drove you home, but you asked me to stay the night with you-
"And you said yes?" he interjected.
"I didn't want to... only because I knew you were gonna be angry at me the next morning but you insisted," I explained looking down at the floor. There were no words spoken for a few seconds, I looked up to see Taehyung staring at the floor also. I couldn't help but feel bad for him, he threw away all his morals last night he's probably thinking through everything and going through his own battle in his mind.
"I'll uh... I'll go," I mumbled standing up and grabbing my shoes, Taehyung didn't say anything and let me leave.

Roughly 2 weeks had past and like always Taehyung wanted nothing to do with me, however now I didn't even have Junkook. I barely saw him anymore, he hung out with people I didn't know in areas of the school I didn't know existed. Hoseok however finally started to act more kind to me in class, Taehyung rarely sat at the old lunch table now so I was able to hang out with my old friends again.
Currently, we were all in class learning about different ideologies in narratives or something like that. I had my gaze concentrated out the window twiddling my pen like always. Ever since my life went downhill my education barely mattered to me anymore. Taehyung was on the opposite side of the room talking to everyone in the class, Jungkook too not so far from him. The others were scattered in their own banter.
"Okay, everyone! I'm going to put you in pairs and you're going to discuss whether the way Romeo and Juliet met was because of luck, or because of fate!" The teacher announced. I looked around to see everyone grab their friends hands trying to pray that'll be able to work together. I just rolled my eyes, remembering when Taehyung and I used to do that.
"Okay so, Jungkook and Hoseok, Yoongi and Mark, Namjoon and Seokjin, Taehyung and Jimin-"
I stopped listening after I heard our names, the teacher continued to pair students but my heart sank. I looked over to see Taehyung nibbling the bottom of his lip in clear annoyance. I couldn't move, I was too scared, the rest of the class got up and went to their partners but Taehyung and I remained on opposite ends.
"Jimin what are you doing? Go do you work," the teacher told me, Taehyung looked up slightly hearing us.
"Uh, Ms is it possible I could be paired with someone else?" I asked quietly.
"Someone else?! You and Taehyung always worked well together come on," the teacher patted me on the back indicating me to stand up and move and before I could interject she was already gone. I looked over at Taehyung and finally started to walk over. I sat down slowly on the chair next to him and a quick uncomfortable silence filled the area. The boy sat there twiddling his fingers on the desk not looking at me.
"Do you think it was fate or luck?" I eventually asked.
"Luck," he answered blunt and quick.
I paused for a second to think, "I think it was fate," I spoke up. I heard Taehyung take a loud sigh before spinning around to finally face me.
"And why do you think it's fate Jimin?" he asked being over dramatic.
"Well, that's how Shakespeare wrote them, two lovers who were destined to be together-"
"They just met at a party it was luck," he argued.
"Romeo could've done anything that night but he went to that party because they're 'star-crossed lovers'" I protested.
"That shit doesn't exist-"
"It's not about that though, they were obviously written a certain way!-"
"Yeah, but the question is asking what we think!-" he fought, we just kept cutting each other off and off.
"And all you have to do is look at how Shakespeare wrote them and your question is answered!"
"But I don't think that shit exists so in a logical sense they met due to luck!" we both evolved to practically shouting at each other, a few people from the class started to turn heads towards us.
"It doesn't matter what you think! Romeo went to that party and met Juliet because their destiny was written in the stars so it was FATE!" I yelled
"Oh really so it was fate that I walked into you FUCKING JUNGKOOK?!" Taehyung pointed at the said boy across the room. I froze, out of a mixture of shock and fear. The whole class was silent and staring at us and as for Jungkook, he had his head down as a few eyes were also on him. Taehyung just stared at me, it was a simple stare but it meant so much.
"Taehyung! You can head to the front office for that language!" The teacher finally ordered. The boy didn't spear two seconds before aggressively launching out of the chair and leaving the room, slamming the door in the process. My head fell from embarrassment, my hand running along my face. The room slowly started to talk again, some about the class topic but mostly about what had just happened. I looked up trying not to cry before the teacher spoke to me.
"Jimin do you want to go take Tae's books to him? And also grab some fresh air and water?" She asked in a kind and sweet tone. All I could do was nod before grabbing Taehyung's books and exiting the class. As soon as I left my eyes immediately welled up with tears.
I was so tired, fed up and annoyed. How long was I going to pay for one stupid mistake I made? People have done far worse than me and they have been forgiven. If Taehyung didn't want to be my friend anymore that's fine, but why can't he just be civil with me now. Well, I'm done, I'm sick of letting everything he does get to me, I just want to get through the last few months of high school peacefully now and not deal with this drama I was trying to move on from.
So that's it, no more Taehyung in my life anymore, I'm finished with him like he's finished with me.
I approached the office to see the boy waiting at the front leaning against a brick wall, I sped up walking to towards him, my body just getting filled with so many emotions that I was overflowing with adrenaline. I got close enough and dropped the boy's books on the floor so he noticed me. His eyebrows furrowed upon seeing me but I didn't care as I smashed my lips onto his.
My hands went up to his neck as I kissed him passionately. He stilled for a quick second before surprising he started to kiss me back. Our lips moved together for only a few blissful seconds but I pulled back quite harshly and wiped my cheeks from a few stray tears. I saw as his previous angry look had changed to a sad look, he looked at me with utter confusion but I just didn't care anymore.
"See ya," I told him before walking away.
I loved Taehyung, I still do and doubt I'll stop anytime soon. But I'm done putting myself through pain trying to prove myself. So I gave him one final kiss and going to try and get through my life.
