"My mom, my step dad, my brother, and I went to the movies to see a movie about Freddie mercury. After the movie, when we got home I told my mom that I was pansexual. We told my step dad. They then asked me if I knew what it meant. I told them the definition of pansexual. After I told them the definition, they called one of my step dad's friend to make sure I was correct, and I was. My mom then warned me that I can't come out to my dad because he's homophobic. But in the end I knew my family will always love me unless I decide to do something dumb."
