The next morning, I went to the Billie's to eat breakfast since I'm too lazy to cook.

Everyone had a lazy moment, no?

When I entered the cafe slash restaurant, Will called my name, I would called that a scream, making those people to turn their heads to me.

I sighed, face palming. "Will, you don't have to scream"

He shrugged and grinned, "I don't care. So, have you talk to Jake?"

"Have you talk to your boss?"

"No" he muttered, glancing repeatedly to a door which maybe leads us to an office.

I raised a brow, "Me too."

"That makes us even." Will said. "what do you want to order?"

I sat on a chair and ordered my food, Will went to the kitchen and I watched a sea of people walking outside at the traffic through the glass wall.

I wondered why people always have that wide smile everyday on their face. Does that mean they're happy? Maybe.

One day, everyone will turned their backs on you.

I sighed.

"Hey. Are you okay?"

I jumped and see Bryan sitting on a chair at the opposite. I blinked and said, "Yeah, hi, I'm fine. Maybe no. Haha. No."

"Okay. . . Anyways, are you Will's friend?" he asked.

I frowned, leaning my back against the chair, "Why are you asking?"

"That doesn't answer the question."

"Yes, I am his friend. Why?"

He sighed, biting his lip, "This is weird but-"

Will appeared beside me and snapped at Bryan, "Stay away from my friend," He placed the plate of food I've ordered on the table and squinted his eyes at Bryan.

"I was just talking to him." Bryan said.

"And?"

Bryan stood up from the chair and stepped closer to Will, face to face, "I was about to talk about you."

I saw Will blushed a little and he gulped so hard. "I-I don't care."

Bryan smirked, folding his arms, "Meet me at my office after you finished your work."

Will went to the bathroom and left Bryan standing. Well, isn't it supposed to be Bryan who walked away first?

I looked up at Bryan nervously and mouthed, "awkward."

"It's not." Bryan sighed then glanced at me. "Will is a different guy"

I raised my eyebrows, I interested. "How so?"

"I don't know. Name's Bryan by the way"

I shrugged. "Connor."

"I see you often come here. The last time you came was with a good looking guy."

Jake.

I shrugged and asked, ignoring the good looking guy he was referring to, "Can I eat my breakfast now?"

He laughed and answered, "of course you can. I'll be inside my office. Bye, Connor."

I nod my head and muttered, "Not bad."

I forgot my phone existed.

I'm not a phone person who played it all the time 24/7. I don't have much in it and there's almost nothing in it.
