My eyes were wide open as my mother stared at me. Aunt Sandra came into view and she mirrored my mother's expression.

"Nathaniel, what is happening?" Aunt Sandra asked.

"Well, Mother, obviously she's being childish," Nate said as he pointed at me while squirming.

"What?!" I exclaimed. "Me? You were the one who started this little fight."

"Hey, I wasn't the one making those snide comments," he defended.

"Oh please, you're just so sensitive!" I shouted.

Nate was about to say something when our mothers cleared their throats so Nate and I looked at them.

"Isabella Riana, get off the poor boy." I cringed as my mother called me by that name.

I glared at Nate and finally stood up, shoving him further down on the process. He stood up as well and reached for a table napkin on the counter. He wiped his nutella and cinnamon covered face and returned the glare I gave him.

"My goodness, if you constantly act like this now, what would happen when you two live together?" Aunt Sandra asked.

"What are--" I started to say but that's when I felt it. A sharp pang tore through my throat towards my lungs. I wheezed and clutched my chest as I struggled to stand. Nate caught me on time as I collapsed, struggling for breath.

Riot came all over the place. I was heavily wheezing, my mother was panicking and Nate was struggling to keep me steady in his arms as we both sank to the ground.

"What's going on?!" Nate asked as he panicked, hugging me tightly.

"Two," I said as I wheezed again, my voice barely a whisper.

"What?" Nate asked softly.

"Two," I said harshly. How can he not understand a simple word. Saying one word was bad enough, but saying it twice...

Nate looked at my mother and said, "What's two?"

Even though my mother was busy trying to contact my nurse, she snapped out of her panicked haze when Nate shouted, "Somebody tell me what the number two means, damn it!"

Everybody was shocked as Nate rocked me softly again, his eyes never leaving their pale faces.

"Her speed dial!" Georgia, one of the maids said. "Number two on her speed dial is Doctor Jennings!"

Finally they remember.

"Here's her phone, Your Highness," another one of the maids said as she handed the phone to my mom.

I was clutching Nate's coat, still strugglig for air as he held me in his arms. Everything was a blur. I was in and out of consciousness as Nate carried me to the back of the limo and hugged me as I cried my eyes out because I couldn't breathe. Apparently, the good old hospital's ambulances were all out.

"It's okay..," Nate cooed as he stroked me hair, possible trying to alleviate the pain. "Shhh."

Eveything was black until I no longer felt his warmth. I opened my eyes to blinding white lights as they passed overhead. I moved my head to the side and saw my mother holding my left hand and Nate holding the other. I tried to speak but I already had a mask on. I clutched Nate's hand and refused to let go as he ran beside the bed.
