"So where are you taking your mate?" Jeremy asked once practice ended and we were in the locker room grabbing our shower supplies to wash off the sweat form practice.

"AJ's dinner, because something tells me that he's not a big fan of anything extravagant. Hell I don't even like extravagant" I said and he chuckled shaking his head

"Wait didn't he say he was buying the house like three blocks from here?" He asked and I nodded turning the shower on and stepping under it to wet my hair before scrubbing the shampoo in

"He was but he'll be staying at the packhouse, most importantly in my apartment," I replied

"Why do you think he moved out?" He asked and I shrugged rinsing the shampoo off before scrubbing the body wash on and rinsing off and shutting the water off before reaching over and grabbing my towel and drying off before wrapping it around my waist.

"He's already 18 and you know most wolves move out at 18 so that maybe it," I said as we walked back to our lockers and grabbed our change of clothes and putting them on before we tossed everything else in our bags then we left the locker room before making our way down the hall towards the exit. As soon as we got out, I spotted Bennett leaning against his car which was none other than the newest Bugatti car, the La Voiture Noire and I was left speechless.

"Dude" Jeremy whispered in awe as he took in the car that my mate was leaning against, "how the fuck did he get that car? That's like the most expensive car in the world"

"Don't ask me" I whispered as we walked towards him and Bennett looked up with a smile before pushing off the hood, and giving Jeremy a small wave

"Can I check your car out please?" Jeremy asked as he looked at the black car with wide eyes and Bennett chuckled nodding

"Sure" and it was as if my best friend was transported in time and I was left watching a child in a candy store as he fist-pumped the air and sent the goddess a thank you, I rolled my eyes at his antics and looked over at Bennett who was shaking his head with a smile.

"How?" I asked looking over at him and Bennett tilted his head to the side and god it was the cutest thing I've ever seen I my life aside from my baby sister, and it took everything in me not to reach over and kiss him senseless which Grayson was not complaining about it which had me rolling my eyes, horny mother fucker.

"How what?" He asked

"How did you get this car? It's the first of its kind and it's hella expensive" I said and he hummed

"It was a birthday gift from my parents" he replied with a small smile though I could and hear the pain in his voice but didn't comment and instead nodded as we watched Jeremy fall in love with the car

"They must really love you if they were willing to spend a hell of a lot of money on a car," I said with a chuckle and he nodded with a small smile

"Yeah they did" he replied and I furrowed my brows at the past tense but like before didn't comment.

"J, are you almost done having an orgasm?" I asked my friend who was practically making out with it making Bennett burst out laughing while Jeremy flipped me off, "Come on we need to get to the packhouse"

"Can I ride with you, Bennett please?" My friend asked with wide eyes making me roll mine

"Um, I-" Bennett looked over at me as if asking if it was alright

"It's up to you" I answered his unspoken question and he nodded

"I guess" he finally answered my friend-and beta- who squealed. Yes, my best friend, tough guy, freaking squealed and did a little dance

"Can I drive it?" He asked and Bennett shook his head

"You can ride it but not drive it. No one but me will ever drive it" he said and my friend pouted like a two-year-old who didn't get what they wanted

>Stop being a child Jeremy< I warned through the link and he huffed and got out of the driver's seat before walking around the hood to the passenger side and I rolled my eyes which I've been doing a lot lately, especially when it's just Jeremy and me.

"Sorry about him" I said bit Bennett shook his head with a smile

"Don't worry. And I'm sorry if I came out rude about no one driving it aside from me" he said but I shook my head

"Don't be. I'm sure there's a reason why and I won't push you to tell me. I respect your decision so don't worry" I said and he bit his bottom lip before giving me a small tight-lipped smile and a nod

"Okay. Um, I guess I'll follow you?" He asked and I nodded walking towards my car and he climbed into his and turned the engine and I swear I heard but friend moan in my head at the sound of the engine roaring to life and

>Don't go cumming in his car asshole<I hissed through the link and he burst out laughing and I looked in the rearview mirror to see Bennett giving him a confused yet amused look before shaking his head as he looked at me with a smile but I could see a small blush coat his cheeks which only means my idiot of a friend told him what I said.

I drove out of the parking lot with Bennett in tow before stopping at the entrance looking both sides before pulling out and making my way down the road towards the packhouse.

I linked the pack when I saw the massive structure come into view 20 minutes later as we drove down a dirt path away from the human population, and I heard a loud chorus of cheers in my head from everyone before they yelled a collective yes alpha! in my head. I could see a few of my pack members in wolf form running through the trees as they followed us. Once I reached the driveway of the house, I parked my car and shut the engine off and waited as Bennett did the same before he and Jeremy met up with me.

"Why did your pack run alongside us just now?" Bennett asked as he joined me

"They just wanted to see you. I announced to them that I met my Mate and told them that you were coming" I replied and bit the inside of my cheek and he nodded

"I figured as much so don't look so nervous," he smiled patting my chest, "most packs do that don't they? I know the pack did that when Benji found his and the same thing happened with Chris and Brett" his smile fell at the mention of his brothers' names but sighed and shook his head before the smile was back on his face, "So, are you going to introduce me to the pack now or after the date? Or we can go on a date tomorrow since it's the weekend?"

"Are you sure?" I asked and he nodded

"I wouldn't have suggested it if I wasn't now would I?" He asked with a raised brow as a teasing smile took over his lips making me smile and shake my head

"I suppose not. Alright then, come on. Everyone's excited to meet you" I said as I led him to the yard as I sent a message to the pack to meet in the yard and once we walked around the pack were already waiting for some in human form while others were in wolf form all spread out around the yard even in the trees, "Ready?"

"Yeah"
