The following weeks since the attack went by in a blur and before I knew it, Dimi and I were heading to the infirmary with Lucas for his scheduled c-section with Princeton fast asleep in Dimitri's arms. The waiting room was already filled with family and friends to wish Lucas good luck during the procedure. Lucas had asked Dimi and me to be in the delivery with him and so Dimi gently placed Princeton into his father's arms before we walked down the hall towards the doctor who smiled when she saw us.

"Hello, alphas, Lucas. You ready to welcome your little girl?" She asked and with a nod of his head, Lucas was led inside to get ready while she asked Dimi and me to do the same and that she'd call us when they were ready which didn't take long and we were sitting at each side of Princeton's head as a small curtain was paced between us and the rest of his body, "Alright, Lucas, let me know if you feel anything" I watched from what little I could and saw her injecting anesthesia into his lower to numb the area where she'd be cutting and quickly looked away.

"Feel what?" He asked and the doctor nodded before she began the procedure, the scent of blood soon filled the small room and I clenched my jaw tight to keep from jumping over the curtain and snapping the doctor's neck on half for harming my pup. But what held me back from doing any of those things was the sound of a loud wail and I felt my eyes begin to sting as the doctor held a baby in the air to show us

"Congratulations, Lucas, you have a beautiful baby girl," she said and quickly got to work on stitching Lucas up while a nurse, who o didn't even see? Took the baby to get her cleaned up before she was back again with the baby girl sniffling looking for warmth and Lucas smiled as the nurse placed the baby beside his head

"Hi, Princess" he cooed and the baby scuffed her little head against his cheek before settling down realizing she had found her protector. Not long after that, Lucas and his daughter were being wheeled out of the delivery room towards the recovery room even though he was already healed but still, the doctor said that it would best if he rested for a while before heading home in a few hours.

"She's absolutely beautiful, pup" Dimi días as we looked down at the baby in his arms and Lucas smiled as he caresses her little pink cheek softly making her crinkle her brows

"Have you decided on a name yet?" I asked and he nodded but before he could reply I felt my eyes widen, "Dimi go tell everyone that the baby is here and bring Princeton"

"As you wish," Dimitri said with an exaggerated bow making me roll my eyes before he grinned, leaving
Lucas and me alone in the recovery room

"How are you feeling?" I asked and Luca smiled

"Good, but something in me tells me that something is going to happen and it terrifies me" he whispered a look of fear in his blue eyes and I furrowed my brows before walking over and laying a hand on his shoulder making him look up,

"Nothing is going to happen to you or your children, Lucas, not when the pack, the family, Dimitri and I are protecting you" I assured him and he bit his bottom lip but before he could say anything else, the door to the infirmary room opened and a loud chorus of voices talking all at once made the newborn in Lucas' arms whimper, "Inside voices people come on"

"Sorry" they all apologized in unison before Xander and his wife walked towards the bed and looked down at the infant

"She's absolutely beautiful, Pup" Xander whispered in awe and I could see his eyes fill with love as he stared down at the baby girl in his adoptive grandson's arms, "She looks just like Princeton"

"Have you decided on a name yet?" Elizabeth questioned as she carried a sleeping Isabel

"Yeah, her name is Isabella Marie" Lucas replied and I smiled
