i heard a faint ringing in my ears. i lifted my hand up to grab onto the side of the steering wheel hoping to sit myself up atleast, i flinched as i noticed i had a massive piece of glass stuck in my side. i felt myself start to panic. i tried to let out a scream, it was muffled so i couldn't tell how loud i was yelling. i looked to the side and noticed through the window that the other car driver was sprawled out on the floor, he looked about 50-60... i tried to scream to get his attention
"SIR!!" i yelled "CAN YOU HEAR ME"
he didn't move.
i noticed my eyes began to close and i was drifting off.

*beep* *beep* *beep* *beep*
i saw a bright light through the tiny slits of my eyelids. i closed them again. not wanting to face the light. i could hear a faint discussion with two woman. it was distant but i could make out what they where saying.
"Y/N" spoke a soft familiar voice. "Can you hear me?"
i groaned.
"it's billie" i immediately opened my eyes. billie placed her hand on my arm and sat down beside me.
"hows it going?" she said jokingly. "you look like shit"
i chuckled "thanks" she made me feel better instantly.
"yeah i'm okay i guess"
"shit. i should've just let you stay longer. i was gonna ask if you could stay with me for another night but i didn't want to make you uncomfortable. anyway. that's besides the point. i'm sorry i wasn't there faster. finneas called me, jah wasn't far from you, he saw the crash and rang the ambulance"
"really?"
"yeah. how nice of him" she looked mad
"Y/N" you're awake. good. how's your stomach feeling?" said the nurse.
"hmm. good" i said concerned
"you should be out of here in a few hours. but in the mean time you will need some rest."
i looked around the room to see billie and finneas. i noticed two other people in the room.
"who's that?" i whispered to billie.
"oh their my parents. they wanted to come and see how you where doing" she said looking at me with her eyes.
i don't know why they came if they didn't know me. but it was nice of them.
"yes, billie talks about you a lot so mum and dad had to come and see you, what better chance to come meet the girlfriend than after an accident" finneas joked
girlfriend?
"i'm just playing" finn said
i laughed. maggie came up to me. and sat next to me.
"are you okay hun?" she said smiling
"yeah. i'm fine. thank you. it's nice to meet you, i'm-"
"Y/N, yes i know all about you" maggie laughed.
