Episode 28 - Surprise Visit

Myrah's P.O.V.

*Buzz *Buzz *Buzz

Nag set-off ang alarm ko and I slowly open my eyes.

Tiningnan ko ang nakaset na reminder sa phone ko at pinikit ulit ang mga mata ko.

I sigh.

This is it.

First day of filming.

I'm sooo excited...

Yeah, no. I'm not.

Kung pwede lang sana i-reject tong project na 'to, ginawa ko na nung araw na inanounce ni Kieth pero hindi eh. Life's a bitch.

Anyways, I gather my strength and get up from bed.

No use complaining about it now.

All I have to do is complete this project without any hassle. Like what a professional would do.

Madali lang diba?

Yeah, yun rin ang akala ko.

Shaking off an uneasy feeling, I do my morning routine and after a couple of hours, I make my way to the set.

"No. Skip my morning tea. Just get my costume ready." Sabi ko kay Clair over the phone.

Kakalabas ko lang ng kotse and with one swift step after the other, I strut inside.

Clair greets me by the door and bows. "Good morning, Miss Mira."

"Good morning." Taray kong sabi habang inabot sa kanya ang leather coat ko.

And with that, we head towards the make-up room and get myself ready for the shoot.

Dahil maaga akong dumating, hindi pa tapos sa final touch ups ang staff sa set. Pero kahit na may kulang, halata naman kung ano ang magiging unang scene ko.

That's right.

Today, we'll be shooting most of the scenes in a school setting.

And first will be the day that Kieth and I met.

O. Wag ka nang mag-isip ng kung ano ano pa Myrah.

Remember, wala na yun. This is just work.

Pinigilan ko ang sarili kong mag reminisce ng mga nakaraan ko at nagfocus nalang sa pagbasa ng linya.

Not long after doing my make-up, I slip into a school uniform.

Thanks to my baby-face features and light make-up, I pull off the "teen" look easily.

"How cute."

I stiffen in front of the mirror as I hear a voice I'm familiar with.

Kieth.

Lumingon ako and sure enough, nasa pintuan siya naka sandal sa doorframe.

"Is this becoming a habit of yours?" Tanong ko, referring to the time na nag barge in siya sa dressing room ko.

"Why? Nasasanay ka na?" He raised his eyebrow suggestively.
