I took a few steps forward, the cafeteria was silent. All you could hear was the sound of my peach coloured Louis Vuitton heels. I stared at her, examining her; my eyes challenging her to say something, daring her to say something first- but silence. She didn't utter a word.
A smile made its way onto my face
And that seemed to make her uncomfortable; she straightened her back and cleared her throat
"Cat got your tongue?"
"What no-"
I sighed, is she still trying?
"Look, you're wasting my time and yours. Do yourself a favour and stop lying to everyone."
"But I'm not!" She tried desperately again "I don't know what you're going on and on about! I thought we were friends."
Obviously Scarlett knew they were losing-
She stepped up and pulled on Rain's arm to lead her away
Or so I thought
But she stepped up instead
"This is what i was talking about Rain. She thinks she's so great just because she is dating Alexander."
I rolled my eyes
"Who I date does not change my self esteem."
I spun around and walked out, but I could hear distantly, that Charlotte didn't have enough as I heard her say "Bitch she can destroy everything your parents built in a snap, I would suggest you shut it."

I found Alex in one of the caged gardens in our school. He was sitting on one of the white marble benches when he heard my heels and turned around.
"Oh it's you."
"It's me" I nodded my head in agreement, I awkwardly stepped towards him as he turned back to stare at the roses.
"Mind if I join?"
He cracked a grin
"Please"
I sat down and leaned my head on his shoulders, I grabbed the lunch I had gotten on my way out of the cafeteria and placed it on my lap
"I brought you some lunch, I didn't see you In the cafeteria, and I'm positive you never miss lunch"
He smiled gently and I handed the lunch to him
"Thanks Rosie"
"You alright?"
"Huh? Yea I'm fine"
"Alex...-"
"I'm fine rose. Really, you don't need to worry." He placed a kiss on my cheek and turned back to the roses
We sat in comfortable silent for a few more minutes, just staring at everything in the small caged garden before my phone rang.
"I'm going to take this" I said as I headed towards the exit
"Hello?"
"ROSELETTE ANDERSON! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?"
"Charlotte? Why are you scre-"
"GET YOUR PERFECTLY FIRM ANNOYINGLY BEAUTIFUL ASS HERE - our room- RIGHT NOW!"
"But-"
And she hung up.

But I got my stuff and called over my shoulders to Alex and told him I was going to go. He answered with a small curt nod.
I walked -more like jogged out of the place, but not before seeing Alex throw the lunch into the nearest trash can.
I'm so sorry that the chapter is so short, I am still trying to set up the story for drama heheh and plus I've been super busy and so this chapter was a little forced....
