the next day, tae woke up wrapped up in jungkook's arms. he was the little spoon, so he had to peek over his shoulder to look at jungkook. when he did, he saw him lying there with a smirk on his face, wide awake.

"how long have you been up?" tae asked.

"like an hour. i didn't wanna wake you."

"so you've just been laying there for an hour?"

"yeah, it's okay though. i had a nice view."

taehyung rolled over and smiled at him.

"the back of my head?"

"yup."

tae pushed him flat onto the bed and started kissing his collarbone.

jungkook moaned and tae started making his way down jungkook's chest. for the first time, he finally got a taste of jungkook's bare skin and he loved it. he wanted more.

"fuck- tae. don't start something you don't wanna finish."

"who said i don't wanna finish?"

"me," he said, bringing tae's mouth up and pecking him on the lips.

"now go change. we're going shopping."

jungkook hopped out of bed, threw his shirt on, and headed for the master bathroom.

"but i don't have any other clothes," tae said, following after him.

"oh, yeah. just wear that, we'll get you some new stuff later."

after they both showered and freshened up, they headed off to jungkook's car.

they started driving and jungkook turned down the radio.

"hey, i gotta ask you something," jungkook said.

"yeah?"

"you remember that night?"

"you're gonna have to be more specific than that."

"when i like... walked in on you. i started crying."

"oh... yeah."

tae was hoping they would just forget that night and never talk about it again, but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen.

"you were trying to... hurt yourself."

tae just looked the other way, super embarrassed.

"was that the only time?" jungkook asked, concerned.

tae didn't wanna lie to him, but he just couldn't bring himself to tell jungkook the truth.

"yeah. i was just in a really bad headspace and wanted to see if it would help. it was a stupid idea and i didn't even go through with it."

"so you haven't tried it since?"

"no."

"you promise me you'll never do that again?"

"yeah, of course."

tae's stomach dropped and he felt awful for lying. luckily, he got distracted when they pulled up at the mall.
