Three days later...

Over the past few days I have endured many lectures on what the monster was capable of, however I had to know firsthand. Whether or not a monster shows it their social structure and actions all revolve around primal instincts that are usually watered down through development and exposure to people. The only instinct that can be seen and exploited in all monsters is their urge to mate which can drive them back down centuries of development. While most monsters in the past had no feelings towards humans, there was always exceptions. We now know that some sirens didn't just attract humans to prey on them. There were cases of them simply being attracted to a human male. Of course no one had the ability to confirm or deny this since there was no feasible way for a mortal human to cross an ocean to get back to civilization. There were evens stories that were hidden in order to stop people from seeking out these monsters and getting killed by one who wasn't interested which was true for most of those monsters. There was a rumor about a man who was taken by a sphinx. The man was smart enough to get through her puzzles by also being foolish enough not to overthink some of her answers. The man got a question wrong and instead of being eaten that sphinx kept him for her amusement and to be his lover. Part of me wondered if this could apply to the girl that I heard which was why I was risking everything to get to her. If I was right we wouldn't have any issue convincing the monsters to join us and fight the order.

I stood in front of a large pyramid, this was strange as I was a long ways away from a desert. I heard movement behind me and I turned to see... you guessed it... a sphinx.

"Who are you to try and get into this tomb?" The girl asked.

"Uh... Y-Y/N?" I stuttered nervously as I knew what a sphinx was capable of.

My body started to burn and the sphinx in front of me seemed like some sort of goddess in my current state.

"Wrong answer! You're a grave robber, dummy!" The sphinx replied.

"What the hell kind of question was that?!" I half shouted.

"If I answered that I would he supplying you with an answer which would invalidate your second question and getting me one step closer to having a husband~" cooed the sphinx as she approached and gently pushed me down. "Next question, what am I?"

"A-A sphinx!" I cried out before my body grew so hot that I felt like I was melting.

"I'm your future wife, Katia, but hey, at least you can still think straight after two doses of my magic." The sphinx chuckles. "Final question. What am I doing?"

"Sitting on me?" The answer I have seemed to be the correct one as Katia relieved a loud moan.

"You know most men would've gone for rape or even marriage, but you got that one correct, you're either smart or a great problem solver, I don't really care~" Katia huffed as she began to slide her paw under my pants which put me to the edge almost instantly. "Just so you know, I won't allow you to cum until you lose, if you can't take it you can always just say so~"

My mind was hazy and all I could do was throw my head back and moan for an orgasm that wasn't coming.

"Is it possible to divide by zero?" Katia asked.

I wasn't sure if this was a joke but I'm talking whatever I can get.

"While technically no, realistically an object with no people, or no object to people, or no objects and no people, would technically equate to zero or the number of the object depending on the people!" Five years of sarcastic scholar just came out.

Katia was as red as a tomato so I assumed that I was correct.

"Sh-shit... alright... what's the maximum velocity of a harpy?"

"What do you mean? Is it a dominant bird of prey or a normal one?" I asked.

"I don't know thAAAGHHHHH!" Katia climaxed and collapsed on my chest. (FWI that was a reference.)

I moved from under Katia and stood up, the sphinx also stood up and pressed up against me.

"I can get us inside, the mistress is waiting for you~" Katia said.

Twenty minutes later...

Once I was inside the pyramid I noticed that the walls were made of obsidian that seemed to shine brighter than normal stone. We walked for some time before I was grabbed from behind and realized that Katia was gone. The girl that had grabbed me had bandages covering her but I soon realized that she had other features that belonged to a monster. A girl that looked a lot like Hana walked out from the shadows but she had feline features, there was a definite chance that Lilith had something to do with her creation. The monster approached me and smirked to show her slightly larger than normal fangs that were red with blood. I felt as a hand was placed on the side of my head that positioned it so that I craned my neck out.

"Don't squirm, this will be over before you know it~" whispered the monster as she licked her lips.

I shut my eyes tightly and seconds later I hit the ground. I opened my eyes and saw that a figure was fighting the monster- it was the warden!

"Go! I've seen what happens if you fail!" He shouted.

I didn't stop to think about what the warden meant by that but I continued to run. I eventually came across a dead end and when I attempted to go back the ground under me opened up and the darkness below swallowed me whole. I fell for what felt like hours until a dim red glow appeared below me and I had mere seconds to scream before I hit the ground.
I felt agonizing pain throughout my body and when I tried to stand I could hardly move and collapsed. I should be dead, but I'm not. I wasn't even unconscious, I was being tortured by my own injuries. I looked up and saw a small glow which I assumed was where I had fallen from. It was like a single star in the night sky.
There was a shuffle behind me and I accepted that I was about to die or be helped. It was then that I saw two glowing eyes that stared at me from the darkness. I whispered a weak plea for help and the two eyes moved closer and an outline appeared in the darkness before a figure was illuminated in the dim red glow. A paw was pressed against the side of my hand and I melted into the warm and soft texture.
"I knew that you would come." The figure whispered happily.
She picked me up and I could feel her soft skin as she held me close. She carried me for a long time until we made it to a lit area where she laid me on a soft bed. I got a good look at her and I found that she was different than in the image that I had seen in my mind. She had a soft and gentle aura and she seemed so gentle around me.
The girl disappeared for a small amount of time and reappeared with a vile of liquid that had a red glow to it. She sat next to me and tilted my head to help me drink the liquid and I found myself to be healing. It caused a tingly sensation throughout my body and I found myself unable to move and when I tried to sit up the girl pushed me down.

"Please don't move, the process takes time and it only resets bones once. If you move it could heal the wrong way and I would have to break it and try again, I really don't want to do that to you... I don't want to hurt you like I hurt so many others... I want to be better and I'll start with making sure you're healthy." The monster hummed with a hint of sorrow. "My name is Catherine, or at least that's what I named myself... my mother never gave me a name and for some reason when I asked her why she put me down here... the only time I saw daylight was when I almost killed someone... she never told me who the man was. Monsters also occasionally look down here and I black out when my desire takes over... that's how I knew that you existed. There is a curse on this pyramid where whoever resides in it can never die. One might ask why this is a curse but when you're starving and broken... and lonely... one might see death as a freedom." The girl named Catherine suddenly lied down next to me.

I could see that she was a lot taller than me and had all of the features that I had seen except she wore rags and had a look to her that didn't look all that dominant, in fact she seemed nicer than when I had seen her from the glowing floor.

I felt... at peace...
