Third person POV, the year the order fully took over.

The city was massive in itself and while the main battle was being fought at its heart, minor conflicts were being had in the outskirts. These battles were necessary in order to avoid the enemies' troops being supplied and reinforced. Conflicts like these were intense because the full force of the enemy would be thrusted into any chosen offense. When a pressure point gives way it becomes a crack in which troops can seep through.
Certain monsters have traits that are rare for their specific species that aren't even recorded as they aren't deemed possible and even if it were to happen these monsters usually don't attack normal humans and go long periods of time without indulging in spirit energy. These monsters usually have the ability to gain spirit energy from females which is not a common trait and unlike other monsters, this will not turn the woman into a monster. However, the same risks still apply, although the normal succubus transformation is not in play and they would remain with the monster who corrupted them unlike succubi or other transformed species. These couples, male and female alike, remain in hiding, whether out of pure instinct or someone's orders remains unknown. There is a dark elf who although carries the name Estela, is best described as a Drow. She carries the old ways at heart, and lies in between the dark and light, rejected by her old ideology and the new race of monsters.

The order would see a woman with dark skin with a bladed whip and leather armor, she stood alone in their path with a sadistic smile.
"Order!" She shouted. "Turn back and I might consider letting the stragglers live." No response. She stood there, unmoving, uncaring, her smile only getting larger as she knew battle was near.
A man in armor that seemed to channel demonic energy stepped forwards. "Elves are acceptable in our society, this is not your battle, so I offer you your own advice."
Estela laughed. "I was hoping that you would say that."
The dark elf cracked her whip and everyone was silent. She walked towards the man in armor and gently pushed him down. He fell in two pieces, her whip had cleanly cut from his shoulder to his side.

An armored vehicle fired its cannon-like gun but only hit a translucent copy of Estela that was only connected to the original by a line of dark magic that ate away at the light in its path. The vehicle charged up its weapon and Estela winked before doing it again. A cloud of black smoke obscured everyone's vision and when it cleared Estela stood wearing light armor that was attached to clothing that was tight enough to allow freedom of movement without being uncomfortable. Her whip had visible blades on it that vanished where she was about to touch and reappeared when her hands moved.

"It's the Drow!" Shouted one of the soldiers.

Estela laughed seductively and began to walk in the direction of the soldiers. "Who said that?" She asked. Everyone was stunned, scared, or turned on, but no one dared to raise a weapon as a legend walked towards them. The Drow was not well known for one reason: almost everyone who didn't do as she said was killed. She had allied with armies during battles and found troops for them in the past, anyone who did not comply died. Of course she made sure that no one knew about this, the looks of fear the dark elf revived were satisfying to her.
The armored vehicle hummed and Estela pulled something from her hair and threw it. It hit the vehicle and exploded. She blew a kiss towards the vehicle as the explosion ignited the rest of the mechanical insides and the actual vehicle went up in flames.
She began to move towards the source of the voice that knew of her.
"The first person to bring the soldier who said that to me will be spared." She said.
It didn't take long for a soldier to wrestle the elf's prey to the front of the group. "Stay here." She said, pointing towards the soldier that had complied.
Estela kneeled down and removed the soldier's helmet and tossed it aside.
"What is such a cute specimen doing out here, there are so many monsters who would want to have someone like you." She whispered.
The dark elf stood up and raised her whip, the metal glistened and the soldier looked up and fell to ground as he trembled. There was a crack and two people let out cries. The first was the soldier and the second was her intended victim. The soldier looked towards her before falling to the ground, and the dark elf wiped the blood from her weapon. She kneeled back down.
"There's nothing wrong with being scared, I have friends who would love to have someone as submissive as you." She said.
The soldier looked up and tears were falling from his eyes.
"What's your name?" The dark elf asked.
"Isaac." The soldier barely managed to answer.
"You shouldn't believe every legend. I'm depicted as someone who has no mercy, but that's not true. I give people chances, and weed out those who deserve death. Most of you don't, but I can't allow people to know about this."
"If you don't kill me... who will... which monster is the executioner?"
The dark elf ran a hand through Isaac's hair.
"What kind of stories have you been told?" Estela asked.
The next hour was spent hearing the various stories that the order had fed them. She had also learned that this was an advance team made up of recruits who were supposed to pave the way for the others. This was why only one armored vehicle and one tank-class troop had accompanied them. The man who the elf had killed was of higher rank than almost every other soldier here. In the end, Estela saw the soldiers as a large group of frightened kids.
Some time passed and a group of amazoness soldiers entered from behind. In the end none of the soldiers wanted to defy Estela and some seemed happy about leaving the order. Most of the amazon soldiers were already married meaning many monsters who were unable to find husbands because of the order had a chance now.
The last soldier to stand up was Isaac. Estela walked towards him and he trembled under her glare. "I know that look, but the answer had to be no." She said.
"But why?" Isaac asked.
The dark elf let out a sigh. "There are times where I might seem tamer than my sisters, but I have a curse. Many people who are experienced with monsters ran away from me because I was too rough. My attacks don't inflict pleasure like the other dark elves, mine only inflict pain. Sometimes it doesn't work like that though and I wonder if I can control it, but I don't know how. This is why I would rather be feared than well known."
"I have nothing left, I would at least like to stay by your side." Isaac said.
Estela let out a chuckle. "I suppose, but for the record, you're either going to die by my hands or natural causes."
"I think I can accept that."
"Good, because you don't really have a choice in the matter anymore." The dark elf chuckled.
